Romance City Hotel

Location was central to points of interest.

No elevator, TV located in kitchen/living room area not in front of bed for viewing at night. Staff was kind but inflexible with requests.

The locations is great. Walking distance from downtown and a lot of food and bar options within walking distance. The room was clean and the staff very helpful.

It is always a pleasure to be back in Morelia, be it for work or for leisure.And it is a pleasure to be back in Romance. This is a hidden gem, a few steps away from the buzz of the city centre, but still close enough to enjoy all of Morelia’s vibes: bars, restaurant etc. The rooms are modern, bright and cosy. Everything is very functional and spotless making it easy to relax. I particularly like the kindness of the personnel and the flavours of its generous breakfast.Warmly recommended!

The hotel is in a great location - a 10 minute walk from the main square but near lots of good bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were delicious too!

WLAN was shaky in our room

Well equipped kitchen, good room service, terrace. Good breakfast, but no variety. The evening receptionist, Yane, was very pleasant and helpful.

The room faced the street and only a few feet separated us from cars, buses and trucks. The room literally shook from the buses and trucks. The noise from these was unbearable, even with the windows closed. Hotel offered complimentary ear plugs which is not a good sign. Very poor ventilation as 2 windows only opened slightly. No ceiling fan anywhere and bedroom had no windows and no air. There was a floor fan, but had to chose if for bedroom or futon. This was a studio suite with a futon. It was really too small to have a futon, even when closed. At night with the futon open, almost impossible to walk around it. Morning receptionist was not very helpful or pleasant. I asked how long it would take to get to the Central de Autobuses in order to gage when to call a taxi and she said she did not know - really?!?!

Perfect location, great staff, good coffee on hotel premises. Room was comfortable and clean.

The staff was helpful and friendly. They originally wanted a bank transfer because we were arriving late. But this was going to be complicated so they allowed us to pay with credit card although we arrived passed 5pm.The reception was very welcoming and friendly.

The room was small but adequate. We are used to not getting the best room in a hotel when we just stay for one night so it was not a problem. The room was clean.

Excellent customer service from everyone!!! Claudia, Jesus and Brenda made me feel at home!!! The room was super nice wish I had stayed longer! Loved the rooftop and Location!

Romancé is a small, modern, tastefully done hotel. Breakfast was good and healthy, excellent location. A big,big thanks to Claudia, Brenda and Jesús who were most helpful with information, friendly and made me feel at home.
