Pros +
- Very nice hotel . Comfortable beds and very clean. Close to everything.
- The staff were fantastic. They were attentive to every need and made the stay comfortable. Dulce was very kind to my wife and I. We arrived early in the AM and she provided a temporary room until ours was cleaned. Everyone provided top tier customer service.
- Customer service is EXCELLENT! The staff is extremely kind and attentive. I was amazed with the amount of freebies they provided during our stay including artisanal soap to take home, morning café de olla with bread and fruit, courtesy beverages and mezcal, some ground coffee from Oaxaca to take home, handmade bracelets for the kids and a hand made huipil! Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in downtown Morelia, without actually staying on the main strip...this is better because it is quieter and a lot more private!
Cons -
- A little sofa in the room to lounge about would be nice ?
- Very hard bed. Allergic reaction to the sheets. Staff changed the sheets and put additional layer on bed. Still very itchy on the 2nd night. Must be the laundry detergent. No fridge, one hard wooden chair to sit on. Why have such a large room and no where to sit. No table. No coffeemaker or kettle. Booking.com says there is both. Breakfast was minimal- bun and coffee. No fruit but did have fruit on Friday. Luckily, we were able to move to another hotel. Staff were extremely kind and caring.
- Parking isn’t convenient but definitely shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. Staff was able to provide recommendations very close and safe.

We absolutely loved our stay at the NaNa Vida Hotel. The location is unbeatable, placing us right in the heart of the city and super close to all the main attractions. What really set the hotel apart was the staff—they were incredibly lovely and super accommodating with every request, making us feel genuinely cared for.The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable (truly a highlight!). Beyond the comfort, we particularly loved all of the thoughtful, personal touches and the hotel’s beautiful devotion to showcasing local Mexican artists throughout the common areas and rooms. Every detail feels intentional and unique. They provide you with a spot for anything you need for your stay. We highly recommend NaNa Vida for anyone looking for a boutique experience rich in Mexican culture and comfort."

Super cute hotel in a perfect central location but somehow away from the noise. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was beautiful
There was complementary coffee/tea, pan dulce and fruit in the morning but the bread was stale and hard so it was kind of a bummer.
I loved how attentive and warm the staff were, we were gifted an unexpected welcome and departure gift which was extremely kind and well received! We loved how Mexican culture was embedded throughout the hotel, within all details and its space. The rooms were simply yet detail oriented and comfortable, filled with natural light.
It is beautiful, spotlessly clean, well appointed and in walking distance to everything in Centro.
The hotel is small and beautiful! The staff is amazing! Super polite, helpful and accommodating! They made my stay very pleasant.
I love how clean and the staff very nice and attentive
The parking
It is a gem right in the heart of central Morelia. Beautiful, clean and impeccable staff!
Nothing. It’s a really nice place to stay. They even give you lovely gifts!
Loved the food, staff, cleanliness of the rooms, hospitality, everything was truly great! The staff answered all our questions and gave recommendations of things to do in the town. Honestly, one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel.
Beds were a bit hard. I was super tired after our adventures so I did get sleep.
Perfect location, workers super friendly and always attentive with everything.
We would like a little more options for complimentary fruit.
Everything was perfect! The location, welcoming & kind staff, bright & airy room with a very beautiful lobby and courtyard. I would highly recommend!
I chose this hotel to get a taste of the traditional accommodation and what a good choice it was. The room (#8) was spacious, with thick walls and heavy glass in the doors so we heard no noise at all with our door closed. It was so silent throughout the night that we slept past 8 a.m. which was the perfect time for our made to order delicious breakfasts. All the staff was quiet, gentle, friendly, and efficient. The Canadian government advisory recommended avoiding this area because of gang activity. We saw not one thing that was disturbing but we did see on the roads in the area many trucks with military style police standing in the back with rifles ready to stop any gang activity. It really worked to keep everyone aware they were ready & ever present. We felt beautifully protected and are so glad we proceeded with our travel plans! One hint: reserve a table at the new Diego restaurant: beautiful ambience, delicious food, served beautifully, and priced better than some of the other 'good' restaurants that were not as pleasing. We wished we had just eaten all our meals there instead of sampling others.
It was cold in the morning (in the hills this time of year) but a sweater fixed that.
I'm definitely hoping to return! Walking distance from the cathedral, rooms are spacious, attention was impeccable, and every little detail made it better such a great experience overall
This was my family’s best experience ever in a hotel! All the staff were so nice and attentive and they paid attention to small details such as putting the correct number of towels needed in our room based on how many people I said were checking in with me during my reservation. Hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Breakfast was excellent and very affordable. They went above and beyond. Thank you! We will be visit other parts in Mexico where the other two Nana Hotels are located because we know we will not be disappointed!
Nice snd helpful Stuff, good location
No parking, narrow beds, loud bars and dogs around
The staff were all extremely lovely and happy to provide recommendations. The location was perfect - close to everything but very quiet in the rooms. Would definitely go back.
Location was on a busy street but the rooms were quiet. The location was very convenient to tourist attractions, all reachable by walking. The staff was welcoming and glad to share information and offered a cold drink every time we returned.
The lighting fixtures overhead in the room were made of yarn fringe and were shedding alittle bit and looked dusty
