The aesthetic

Hot water doesn¿t last.

The area was nice and potential was there. Breakfast was good.

Facilities were run down with maintenance issues everywhere. Our AC quit working and shower features did not work with lime and rust. Pool was not clean and no one there. The were too many ducks running around the grounds. Overall it seemed like a hotel past its hey day that needs a remodel and many fixes.

The Actual Barrica was clean. Great for pictures.

Staff was not engaged and did not smile. The bath robes and towels were so old. The mattress was not comfortable.The walk to the restaurant seemed like it was from a horror movie. There was a loud party going on until 2 am unable to sleep.

A truly unique and unforgettable stay. Sleeping in barrel-style rooms surrounded by agave fields was an amazing experience. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great food, and an excellent tequila tour and tasting included. Highly recommended when visiting Tequila.

Things like towelsn sheets and others need to be replaced and with better quality for the price you are paying. Food at the restaurant is ok, but there are better options outside.

Everything was great I liked that the barrel had its own restroom.

I had a great overall experience — it’s a very beautiful and peaceful place. However, I did have a couple of issues during my stay. The air conditioner in the room wasn’t working properly and kept making a loud noise, which made it difficult to sleep. Also, the road leading up to the main entrance was quite bumpy and could use some maintenance. Aside from these concerns, I really enjoyed my time there.

The location is not the best It's easy to get lost, and the roads are pretty bad.

Water in the faucet and shower was brown. Pool was also murky. The property doesn’t seem finished. There are too many ducks in the property - causing the property to smell. There is a misrepresentation in the price as the 300 pesos lunch was not included, instead we paid full price.

During the tour, Priscilla provided us with alot of information. Furthermore, the kindness of everyone made us feel incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were also amazing. I'm hoping you guys bring back the shuttles.

The only thing we didn't like was the service for breakfast. Very slow paste and kept forgetting about us, when it wasn't busy.

They cancel me one day before my reservation (march 2nd ) it’s April 4 and still waiting for the refund super BAD customer service

The ambiance was exceptional. The barrel concept was unlike anything we have experienced before. The amenities provided in the barrel room were very good including bath robes, stocked mini bar and toiletries. The property was quiet and restful. The dining facilities were above average with excellent food and very accommodating staff.

The signage on the property was difficult to interpret in order to find the dining and breakfast facilities.

Once in a lifetime experience. We stayed in the main apartment and not in one of the Barricas. The surrounding, view, barricas, the Tequila tour (which was included) , the free tequila all all day :)), the big cozy apartment , super friendly staff, comfy bed, great breakfast in Catrina restaurant!! Everything was perfect. And of course the ducks :))I highly recommend !!

We always love and enjoy our stay at the Barricas. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is always friendly and helpful and who wouldn’t love sleeping in a tequila barrel! There are two restaurant on sight. One is a restaurant/bar for dinner dinning and the other for breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend taking a tour at the La Cafradia distillery. It’s fun and informative about all that goes into the making of tequila! Don’t forget to stop by the store on your way out to purchase a couple bottles of tequila to take home with you. It’s always a must! The new pool area is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy it due to the fact, we didn’t find out about it opening until late in the evening the day before we left. We were bummed about that, but oh well! Next time!
