- The property was beautiful. Lots of antiques and fireplaces. Some very quaint touches. The included breakfast was amazing. Alonso would make us pretty much whatever we wanted and it was delicious. And he was no nice and helpful. He gave us some tips of places we should drive out to. The rest of the staff were great too. It helped that the hotel was not busy during the week. They also took dogs and that was great. The area was super quiet for sleeping.

The customer service was very very good. The property was also very cutely decorated. I also loved the fireplace in the room and the location to the main plaza
We love this hotel. The breakfast is great, the staff is nice, and we love that it is pet friendly so we can bring our dogs along with us. This was our third time staying at La Casona and we would consider it any time we travel to Tapalpa.
The beds were a little bit uncomfortable and the wifi connection was not so great at times. The price for the weekend is a little bit high when these things are considered.
