Pros +
- Super convenient location, near local clubs, great restaurants, and grocery stores. Room has a full kitchen and is more like a studio apartment than a typical hotel room. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
- Its more like a small apartment building in the heart of the Romantic Zone. I loved it! As has been said, some might have experienced confusion in that you need to check out at the Encinio Hotel nearby. Not really a problem.
- The hotel was In a good area. It was easy gettimg to the beach, only about a 5 minute walk to it. Lots of restaurants all around. Malecon was about 10 minutes walk.
Cons -
- BE AWARE! This hotel is right above two strip bars and near several other night clubs. The music from those places does not stop until after 3 am. If you expect peace and quiet after 10 pm, you will be greatly disappointed. Great place, loud neighborhood!
- No beach towels offered.
- I didn't like that they do not have a lobby at the hotel. Nobody told us that we needed to check in at a different hotel called Encino hotel which is about 5 blocks away. There is really no sign for the hotel. The entrance its just a regular black door.
