Pros +
- This hotel has a great breakfast buffet in the morning. This hotel some of the days provided dinner as well
- I used to stay here all the time. Breakfast and "Happy Hour" consusted in an arry of food served on plates with cutlery. Now food offerings are diminshed and servings are on styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. VERY wasteful and horrible for environment
- I liked everything, the staff was very friendly, from the security guards, the receptionists, the valet parkers, the cooks, the cleaners, everyone did an excellent job.
Cons -
- The hotel room was very freezen cold and the front desk told us the room temperature control didn't have a heating feature. People smoked in the hotel and you can smell the smoke in the room specifically in the morning very strong smell .
- Please see abive
- I didn't like that there wasn't much drinking water. They only gave us two bottles of water. I understand that water is life, and it would be a plus if they at least gave us unlimited drinking water.

I liked the area of the hotel and the weather and the people everyone was welcoming
There's was nothing I didn't like
The space in the roomFacilities and breakfast and the location
Found pet hair Traffic noise during the night Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for 2 hours
The people working in the hotel were all very nice and helpful, the breakfast was good, the hotel was clean and the kitchen had all basic items in case you wanted to cook/eat. There were quite a few stores close to the hotel.
The booking site gave me a room with two beds for about $780, but when I got there they said the hotel has no rooms with two beds, such rooms do not exist. So I had to pay an extra $300 to get a room with one bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was a very used poor quality mattress, with the metal springs coming through it, was extremely uncomfortable to sleep in, and I could not get a good rest, plus my whole body was in pain. The air temperature thermostats did not work to keep the temperature you set up/hood, and kept making the room cooler and cooler, if you let them on, so had to be up all day and night to keep turning the air conditioning on and off, so I can breath and not be frozen … The windows had a very poor insulation, as there was continuous noise from the street/outside, even though we were at a high level, and all noise made by cars, motorcycle, wind etc were heard very loudly, which kept me up all night. The fridge was not really cooling - butter was very soft while in the fridge, and other foods were not cold. The coffee machine and hair dryer were not working properly or at all, at times.
I liked that the room was a suite. I liked that the halls were quiet. I liked the refrigerator in the room. The staff was very friendly. The location was good. I liked they had Fox News on the television.
The sofa had a bad smell. The towels looked a bit dirty and were a bit worn. The breakfasts were below my expectations. The breads were not good. The pancakes were cold. The coffee was weak and cold. The television reception was spotty.
breakfast goodroom cleanlocation very good
room have big noisy
Good facilities. Spacious room
Breakfast was scarce and had very low quality. The windows are not insulated so you hear the street noise.
Staybridge Suites is an excellent hotel, in front of Plaza del Sol Shopping Center and near Guadalajara Expo with free shuttle to go. It is so convenience. The hotel is clean, good and friendly staff and offers breakfast. The room was excellent and clean.
I missed café de olla, a really good mexican coffee. I asked for it and they bring me from the hotel in front of Staybridge. The breakfast only included american coffee, so bad. It included other mexican food, but pancakes and french toast are only offered at weekends. I think it would be bring everyday.
Superb
Someone in another room was smoking and the smoke odor came thru the vents, it was very strong. It is not the Hotels fault but when I checked out, they thought we we were smoking, that's how strong it was. It gave us a headache. Other than that, it was great:)
happy hour and breakfast and room was good
air conditioning did not work room was 25 degrees all night
Like a home away from home, it was the perfect blend of hotel and house. The suite was very clean and so were the dishes. It had all the fixings for a long stay. The breakfast is delicious and the kitchen staff helped me surprise my wife with a birthday breakfast in bed. I LOVE the full fridge and stove to cook, sometimes you just want to cook or reheat your delicious restaurant leftovers properly. The bathtub is perfect to relax it was just a straight tub, no fuss and worry of cleanliness from jetted tubs like I've had from many other hotels.
The parking is quite sparse but the valets are extremely helpful and accommodating so kudos to them for an exceptional job. Honestly there wasn't anything I can think of that i didn't like or was bad. The fact that i didn't get to enjoy the room to the full extent or all the hotel has to offer because of taking care of family business all over the city is the only negative. It's the hotel i will only consider when taking my next trip to Guadalajara.
The hotel is located at Mariano Otero, veyr near to Expo Guadalajara. The room is amazing, comfortable bed, very clean. The breakfast was delicious, every day it was different. Eggs, fruit, juice, toast bread, coffee. The staff was very friendly.I highly recommend it.
Superb
The pool was a little duty. You could see the little dirt right where the water breaks or touch the edge.We think because of the pandemic could use a little cleaning there.
Parking was good and the staff was always helpful to arrange it when it was more complicated.I stayed for a couple of weeks and was very impressed with the customer service of the men that worked the front desk. The room was large and comfy. There is no heat in the hotel so I got very cold before I asked for a portable heater, which the lady at the front desk didn't offer but the man after her shift did.
The main breakfast staff was almost always rude and more often than not gave me an incorrect order. I also thought the breakfast was really boring as it was the same nearly every day.
the location
need a lot maintenance, neglected and dirty
Very clean, comfortable rooms
location. size of room
Great breakfast just no bacon
