Mirador del Frayle offers beautiful rooms around an outdoor pool and an attractive terrace. The property is located just over 10 minutes’ walk from central San Miguel de Allende. The spacious rooms are decorated in traditional colonial style. They have tiled floors and satellite TV, and many offer wonderful town views. The Frayle Mirador is set in beautiful gardens, and offers free Wi-Fi. There is free on-site parking. The hotel’s restaurant offers international food, and there are 2 bars, one by the pool.

- The place is located just 1 km from the very center of San Miguel. While this is quite close, the location is up on a hill, making the walk to the center quite steep. However, if you use the La Palma stairs instead of Cta. de Loreto, it will be easier and faster. I did this every day, even a couple of times on our last day, despite having a toe injury. The staff is lovely, especially the person who serves breakfast in the restaurant. They provide great customer attention and kindness. I recommend this place if you are okay with walking. The view of the uptown streets will make your decision worthwhile.
