    Cons -

    • Hotel is old and requires a better maintenance actions.
    • Bring your own food and drinks. Pass 23.00 you can’t get absolutely anything here!
    • Although it’s not the best hotel, it is clean and comfortable. However, the receptionist at the front desk is rude—she acts like she’s running a jail, not a hotel. They give you tickets to exchange for towels at the pool, and hell will break loose if you don’t return the tickets—not the towels, but the tickets. I didn’t even use the pool towels and forgot the tickets in my room. At checkout, the front desk lady insisted on getting the tickets back so badly that I had to return to the room to find them. So, make sure you keep the tickets in the safe—otherwise, they’ll hold you hostage over them.

The waiters are great the view is amazing but in order to get there you have to go up hill for about 15 minutes in a car

Beautiful view on Taxco and nice rooms. Very good for family with children as there are plenty of games and activities to keep them entertained.

The restaurant is not so good and the service was extremely slow.

Location, amazing view. Friendly staff. Lots of entertainment for kids, ping pong table, giant jenga, pool, pool table etc.

Food. If the food would have been better I’d give this property a 10. They should offer discount on the cable car for hotel guests.

The view and pool was amazing

The WiFi wasn’t working at times

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would recommend it to those looking for a peaceful retreat. The hotel is located outside the main city center, making it wonderfully quiet and ideal for relaxation. One of the highlights was the great view—you can truly enjoy the serene surroundings. The pool was a nice feature, with relatively warm water that made swimming enjoyable, even in cooler weather. The hotel’s restaurant was also impressive, serving delicious food that added to the overall experience. For getting to the city center, you can use the telecabin (teleférico), which is a fun and scenic way to travel. However, it’s not included in the hotel’s services and costs 120 pesos for a round trip, so it’s something to keep in mind when budgeting. The only real downside is that there’s no internet in the rooms, which could be inconvenient for some. However, if you’re looking to disconnect and relax, this might not be a problem at all.Overall, it’s a lovely choice if you value tranquility, good food, and a comfortable stay with scenic views.

One of the most stunning locations I’ve stayed in. Elegant in the old way and well maintained. Amazing balcony for dining above the pool and lovely Taxco. I extended my stay.

    Nada.

The view, the beauty and the warm welcome from the staff at the Hotel.

The architecture, the cable cart ride from the hotel to city. The breakfast was great and the Silver jewelry shop has great prices.

The staff was great and went out of their way to make my birthday celebration a memorable experience.

The only negative thing I can think of would be the drive to get there. The road is very steep and the recent rains made the cobblestones very slippery. But that's not the hotel's fault.

    Nice location and good view

    Food, not variety

    8BrentPosted on: 6-10-2024

Garden room was quiet and comfortable and still had a view. Beds were good. Everything worked fine in the room. Pool was clean and water was comfortable at this time of year. Enjoyed sitting outside in the evening looking down on the city and sipping some Mezcal. They even had fireworks and musical performance one night.

    9ParisaPosted on: 4-30-2024

We loved the location, view, entertainment and decor.

The food was average. They can definitely make it more authentic and better quality.

    9IsabellePosted on: 4-16-2024

The location of the hotel and above all, the view. the pool, the funicular (original way to travel)...the colonial style of the hotel...

a safety box that didn't work; generally speaking, staff was quite buisy and was not so kind.

    8IsaPosted on: 3-2-2024

Clean room and comfortable for a short stay. Nice fireworks show on Saturday night.

The front desk staff were nonchalant and not too welcoming. Breakfast service was slow.

    6Bob J.Posted on: 2-11-2024

As usual, the room and view were good. The physical features of the hotel are all great.

The pool is dominated by children and there was a really loud PA system set up for their entertainment. The parents could not have cared less and were just happy that they could drink, plan infidelities and take selfies whilst someone else babysat their progeny. It was like a dog boarding kennel but with children. In the future, I will look to Adult Only accommodation.

Location was super with unparalleled views over the beautiful town of Taxco and its surroundings…, definitely go for the city view rooms!

To get there it’s a bit of an adventure as our van was not able to climb the hill to the hotel. There is an cablecar, but this one is not included in the price when you book through OTA’s and only runs until 18:30, another option is to take a taxi (take the old Beatles, it will just be awesome!).

    7marinaPosted on: 8-24-2023

View was stunning, cableway near to get to the city center, nice pools and restaurant, friendly staff.

Old towels, shower was not fully functioned.

    9AbrahamPosted on: 8-21-2023

amazing view, and the staff attenion was excelent.

The restaurant´s menu was very limited, pool closing hours was very early, there is no closet in the room, it was a bit crowded to put our clothes in the drawers.
