The restaurant was the only thing I enjoy

The pool was the only reason I booked at this hotel But of course, it was out of order, wifi didn't work inside our room, very salty water horrible taste I have to buy a bottle of water just to brush my teeth, private parking but people park outside blocking the entrance so bad!!

We have stayed many times and like the simple decor and facilities by the sea.

The upholstery needs refreshing, both on the beds by the pool and on the bench cushions in the rooms.

We had a great stay at Baxar, it’s a great peaceful place far from city center. Good value for money, fits for a romantic weekend, food choice of food and drinks - is a plus - since there is no restaurants nearby

It was difficult to swim, waves are too strong and big. I’m a good swimmer, yet it wasn’t easy to swim and relax. Not suitable for kinds

Beautiful property! Loved the small feeling but they did their best to include so much value. Great staff. Free parking

One day I asked that they not blast music next to me in the afternoon and their staffed responded that that was their “concept”. The food was ok but when you are staying somewhere without other options around it’s not good enough

Fantastic location really on the beach, palapa-style hotel, clean and spacious rooms, good and varied restaurant menu, with many options and quite fast to be served. Caring and friendly staff.

Included breakfast a bit light, more generally food and drinks, including cocktails, a bit light. Portions could be a bit bigger (eg 3 tacos instead of 2) and cocktails a bit stronger.

location is great, right on the beach, separated from the city. There is a plenty of chairs on the beach, food in restaurant is delicious, nice and maintained rooms and complete environment, swimming pool is good

in our room was no A/C. there are some rooms ( in older building wirhout A/C. check with the hotel before you book

The music, the pool, the service. All excellent.

I didn't care for the menu.

The beach was excellent.

Bad customer service.The breakfast so poor.The staff is not prepared to offer a good customer experience.The towels in the room so dirty. The drinks are not good. There was a insect in my orange juice, the waitress just took it with a spoon and gave me the same juice. I talked to the manager and he didn't take any action about my complaints.

BaXar Hotel has a beachy, earthy ambience. It is directly on the beach with great views from the comfortable lounge chairs. The sand is clean and the pool is warm and big enough to swim. The restaurant also has great views and the food is delicious. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated with comfortable beds. César gave wonderful food and drink service and had a pleasant personality. BaXar is my favorite place to go to in Pie de la Cuesta and Acapulco.

The drink choices are a little limiting and the prices are somewhat expensive for certain items. I'm a wine drinker and I didn't have many options to choose. The Day Pass with outside guests could be a little annoying when they arrive in large groups and lots of children.

Nice large room with comfortable bed, good location by the beach, with various places to sit outside on the beach on beds or chairs under covers or roofs.

The supposedly free breakfast was just a very simple cup of tea and piece of bread, we had to pay separately for any proper breakfast. Although the booking stated they spoke Spanish and English, no-one was able to speak English when we needed them to!

Decoration of the hotel is nice. They care about the environment

Pool was gross. Located next to a banquet hall couldn't sleep 2 nights in a raw. Water to shower is salt water. Poor ventilation in rooms, a small fan to cool off the room. You have to open the door to ventilate the room and people can see into your room, towels are old. The "breakfast" included is misleading and very very small. Menu is extremely limited and kitchen doesn't accomodate special requests or diets.

Love the place (overall), the beach, and the room. Would improve the quality of the towels and/or have towels for the beach.

The check-out experience was very slow.

You can flirt with ocean but hard to go to swim.

I like the service and the amenities. The place, the beach, the food, was excellent and affordable price. The experience, the yoga lesson free, the lagoon ride free, the breakfast, the mezcal at sunset...Definitely I recommend it!

The excesive noise at night, because there is a party place next to the hotel. Don't let me sleep very well :(

Absolutely gorgeous! The rustic look. The view. The staff was super friendly. I loved the fact that they have vegan dishes in their menu. I also loved all the activities they offer.

There was nothing not like

Location was good and it was directly on the beach with sun bed facilities. Also around the bar was lots of comfy seating areas. The hotel is directly onto a lovely beach and pool is nice also. Everyone is super helpful and when we went to the bars along the street, the staff in each bar can’t do enough for you. There is a lagoon that you can hire kayaks on which is good. Really lovely people.

There were little bugs on the vanity unit and around the bathroom sink. This maybe due to the windows in the bathroom just having mesh on them and in the bedroom there are louvre doors going onto a terrace so bugs can come through there. Also can here dogs barking a lot through the night.
