I love this hotel, the architecture, the paint job, the pictures of Hollywood stars hanging in the lobby, and most importantly the spectacular views. Albeit the hotel is a little run down and could use some updates and simple details like bed covers, wash cloths, a towel for the floor of the bathroom, simple things like that aren’t even available in the junior suite. The restaurant service is slow and food is decent. In spite of these misgivings the hotel is a gem ? and is my go to place in Acapulco.
It’s a faded glory from Acapulco’s years of Holllywood’s fame. It should be restored and protected as a landmark. Hopefully one day it might.
Fantastic place, full of history and charm. The location on the top of the cliffs is perfect for wiev direct to sunset.
