Customer service is great! Rooms are very clean!

I put the do not disturb sign on the door and the cleaning staff still entered the room one day. The other day the sign was out again and the cleaning staff still on cocked on the door to have me sign a paper. Do not disturb means do not disturb.

Hotel was just what we wanted, some place comfortable, clean, friendly with nice relaxing pool. Was in great location. Had 3 nights booked and ended up staying 6 nights we enjoyed our selves so much.

    Expensive restaurant

I have been in the same hotel some years ago (Calinda hotel at that time), and the renovations for the new hotel Amares are great, it looks fresh, cleaner, nice colors. Location is perfect, nice swimming pools and beach access.

The check-in process is very slow, long waiting time due to complicated process (multiple forms, printing, even stamps on parking card, getting card for towels, rooms, bracelets), I found it too complex. The towels system can be improved, did not understand why they write the number of towels and room each time you get towels, if the purpose of having to return the towel card when check out is for checking that you did returned the towels. The breakfast buffet is too expensive, 380 pesos per person.

We got the top floor room and the view is amazing. The hotel is clean and the room is very nice, the beach Infront of the hotel is also very nice. The staff were helpful and nice (especially the girl at reception). Also nice drinks at the pool bar.

    The pool is rather small.

Great new looking facilities, nice staff, comfy bed.

Pillows wasn't comfy, swimming pool is more for children, check-out I was waiting on line a lot, they should change to have advance people which are doing check out, because to catch bus, airplane on time.

The hotel is recently remodeled and the staff is nice.

It is noisy, you can hear people's breathing next door, and so on... Also they were remodeling 7 floors above us but the drilling woke me up before 9 am. You are not allowed to bring food and the hotel does not have a mini bar. I forgot over there a cheap toy, but nobody saw it, please be sure you do not leave ANYTHING because you will not see ever again, not even the cheapest item

Great view of the beautiful gulf of Acapulco and surrounding city.

Located on the main beach, the weekends were incredibly uncomfortable with tons of people and children. Super Overcrowded weekend! Small rooms with cheap furniture. No washcloths! I’m completely positive housekeeping does not clean the cups and glasses in the room, but only rinses and wipes with a towel.

It has a great location, an amazing view, and helpful personnel.

The shower was small and did not have much pressure. The gym is rather simple and more for cardio than weight lifting.

The location was fine, and the rooms were spacious. The view of the room was nice.

There was no internet throughout my entire stay. This caused me huge problems since I needed to have some business calls, and I had no way to join the calls or communicate. The staff kept saying that some technician was checking the Antena, but nothing changed. The valet parking stole money that was inside my car. Parking is paid extra, but I had to park my car on the street one night because the entrance was packed with cars, and there wasn't anyone to pick up my keys. The rooms have a connecting door to another room, but they are so thin that you can hear absolutely everything that is happening in the next room as if they were right there with you.The swimming pool is too small and gets packed. Not worth the price i paid.
