    Pros +

    • Really nice staff, they were flexible with our checkout time, and helped with everything we asked, thank you! Loved the private balcony with great view to the jungle.
    • The bar was priced reasonably and gad everything
    • Located outside of town with a jungle feel. So many beautiful blooming plants. Having a restaurant on site was awesome since it was outside of town off a gravel road. The staff were amazing and such hard workers and friendly. Having two pools it was nice to come off the road from a long ride and cool down in the pool right away. Having a good breakfast included was a big plus!

    Cons -

    • Unfortunately the room wasn’t very clean, as well as the pool
    • Our room didn’t have a toilet seat for some reason
    • The signage coming Off the main road could be marked a bit better. As there are two turns that are a bit confusing. We came in on motorcycles so it was a bit tricky on the gravel. The pools could use a good shock treatment and vacuuming of the bottom as it was a little slippery. Advertised a coffee maker in room which it did not have and coffee wasn’t available until after 7 in the restaurant. When you are up early and a coffee drinker it would be nice to have coffee available earlier.

Great potential but needs a lot of work. Pool nice but not properly cleaned & not as tody as photos look, restaurant & food good, staff very helpful. Rooms tired & need complete refurbishment - paint peeling off wall in bathroom with some mold on roof, hinge missing off balcony door, several lights not working. However, beds comfortable, aircon good & strongest/hottest shower we've had in Mexico so far. Fantastic Italian restaurant next door - a must visit!

The hotel has a restaurant and pool. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious…..especially the coffee. There we’re many beautiful flowering plants.

There was little to do but relax by the pool. It is surrounded by construction and a very rough road to get into the hotel. The pool was lovely but not well maintained….lots of debris in the water. Some lounge chairs would have been nice.

    Good

Hotel was being renovated whilst we were there, but we were not advised about this and not one of the staff apologised for the inconvenience.

    8OrnaPosted on: 2-1-2025

location was comfortable for us but it was difficult to get there. Most of the stuff were helpfull (beside the one in the bar)

The guy in the bar was very unpleasant.

    good value for the price

the pool was not very clean. The restaurant was closed at 21.00 eventhough they said at 21.30Internet very poor in the room

It must have been a nice hotel in the past. The design of the complex is good: bungalows are pleasantly distributed in the jungle. The reception staff is helpful and accommodating.

The bungalows are run down and desperately need refurbishing. The light in our bungalow was almost non-existing. We thought that lights had been dimmed to give a pleasant evening atmosphere but there was no way to actually increase lighting. This is very difficult for packing, reading, etc.The bathroom was really old and neglected, not pleasant to shower in a place where you’d rather not touch anything and would rather get out of there immediately. The place was not very clean, the floors not vacuumed properly, scale build-up and mould in the shower.Loads of humidity in the room which is a common problem in the jungle. No place to put our luggage, no hooks for towels in the bathroom. The WiFi is not available in the bungalows, and this is something which the receptionist did not mention when giving us the WiFi password.Free parking is available in front of the reception, however, if you have heavy luggage, bear in mind that there is some walking and climbing the stairs needed to some of the bungalows.Overall, the place is overpriced and not good value for money.

Price. Food in the restaurant was also quite good.

The road to the hotel is shitty take it into account if you go by car. The wifi connection was very poor. Only shampoo and soap were provided. In general, the hotel can't be rated as 4 stars at all.

Great location, perfectly situated between the jungle and the center of Palenque (40-minute walk). Within minutes, we spotted monkeys and macaws. The rooms are comfortable, and the shower is excellent.

Currently, there is ongoing construction causing noise from 7:00 AM until late in the day. Construction is also taking place at the pool, which affects privacy and makes it an unsuitable spot to relax. Additionally, during lunch and early dinner, multiple tour groups come to eat at the buffet in the restaurant next to the pool, with random people coming and going, further reducing privacy. Loud music is played in the restaurant (even by Mexican standards), making it less enjoyable. We would recommend dining elsewhere instead of at the hotel. Pictures of pool, restaurant and bar are better than in real life.

Only the forest, it was too far walking with the suitcases, the employee was in reception didn’t help Us. My wife and me are 74 years old.

Bath ugly towels, toilet very dirty, We founded mouse poop in the balcony

I liked the room. It was clean and proper with a nice balcony and everything was functional. The food was nice with good service and decent pricing

They were construcing new things next to the pool so this area was not so nice. Really as if you were on a construction side. Which was also next to the restaurant.

Great location for visiting the Mayan Ruins. Jungle setting with good restaurant and coffee shop close by.

To get there the road is quite a challenge and there was a lot of building work going on.

There’s a large swimming pool surrounded by lovely trees. however because it’s surrounded by lawn and trees it’s easy to take dirt etc into the pool on your feet. Having a restaurant and fast wifi was handy for us Staff were patient with us with our bad Spanish.

Pool needs a good clean and the tiles a scrub. Toilets not clean. The rooms need some pretty major maintenance and updating, dark and worn out in appearance. The hotel has good potential, just needs a spruce up!

    5RyanPosted on: 9-21-2024

The room was a nice size and had a big bed and the property is close to the ruins. You can walk to town but it’s about 30 minutes and it can get sweaty in the heat but taxis aren’t too expensive, the staff are helpful to order them if you need too.

It was nice that the property had a pool as it was hot, but it wasn’t maintained very well. The pool was pretty dirty, tiles were broken, and the area around the pool was messy, not like the pictures. There were no sun loungers either so relaxing by the pool wasn’t really a option as they only had these rocking chairs which were made of this wire material which weren’t the comfiest. They are also extending the hotel it seems with more rooms so it was noisy around the pool area most of the day. We were also woken up at 6:30 and 6:45am both days of our stay to hammering. They were working on a neighbouring bedroom hut.Overall it was just about ok. But I wouldn’t go back for the price.

Simple rooms, pool was nice. Good bargain but nothing special. For one night fine

Rooms are a little bit like youth hostels but on the other hand the price is applicable

    Nature

Roof leak, broken a/c, sheets with holes, missing amenities, three different rooms because of these issues, manager refused to speak with us. Had to check out early and bookings com dismissed the issue with out speaking with us.

    7MatthewPosted on: 6-19-2024

The spacious rooms with comfortable beds and adequate sheets were enhanced by a lovely balcony and natural surroundings. The pool was pleasant, with provided towels, and the hotel maintained a cozy atmosphere, encouraging guests to gather near the pool and dining area. Additionally, the rooms were cleaned daily and had appropriate amenities.

The pool needs more maintenance, likely more chlorine to address the noticeable algae. The food was not great, so it's preferable to eat outside the hotel.

Beautiful and big garden. Good breakfast. Big swimming pool. Beautiful view to the garden area.

    Bathroom needs refreshing.
