Pros +
- The staff is the friendliest and warmest of any hotel or resort that you'll find in Palenque. The breakfast is especially personal, although it's a continental breakfast, they personally prepare it and serve it to you when you sit down. Beautiful ambiance
- Absolutely heavenly. It was incredibly relaxing, serene, felt luxurious. Room scent was devine, as thought walking into a spa room. The grounds were a zen garden of peace and beauty.
- The property has all of the “needs” for an amazing palenque stay but unfortunately the management cares little about this amazing property and are letting it fall into ruin.
Cons -
- The jacuzzi that they advertise was not functioning. Hot water not working well. I advised the front desk in the morning but the tech was not advised and in the evening we could not shower and had to wait a while and finally had to change rooms.
- I was not aware I needed to let desk know to have continental breakfast. I should have read the information. That was on me. Staff super accommodating and provided me with great option. Everything else was perfect.
- Bugs in the bedroom and bathroom, the toilet was stopped up, no fresh water for drinking, the bed sheets for poorly and the mattress cover was threadbare. The entire room needed paint and the bathroom was moldy and messy.

Amazing relaxing stay right in the heart of the jungle. Quiet and private
Misses more food options for lunch and dinner
Clean and very pretty and peaceful. Always someone to help you with whatever you need.
I personally didn’t love the breakfast but my friend who I was with loved it!
It’s impressive that the hotel is literally in the jungle, and the surroundings are beautiful. Some of the staffs are really nice and speak English well.
The worst value for money I’ve ever experienced. It’s as if they accidentally added an extra zero to the price. Seriously, if the hotel had been 90% cheaper, I would understand its condition. But not on this price. The rooms might have last been renovated or painted during ancient Mayan times. The walls are moldy, the plaster is crumbling, the bathroom drains are clogged, and the bed linen is dirty. The entire hotel is extremely neglected and looks very disgusting. Some of the receptionists don’t speak English at all, not even a word.
Such a pretty boutique hotel with lush vegetation, hammock for each room, AC, large bathroom. The swimming pool was awesome. location was in the jungle, quiet but 10 min to Palenque centre and 10 min to the ruins by taxi. They offer breakfast at extra cost and have a couple of menus to get food delivered for dinner
Breakfast is over priced. the food delivery for dinner is not great and there is no options for lunch. It took over an hour to get our order and the food is really average. given the location (out of town) and the quality of the hotel, this needs to be improved. A couple of restaurants are nearby but it's very touristy and / or expensive. We had to ask for more towels (we were 4 but only got given 2)
Nothing. Very bad hotel, in bad shape and bad customer service. there was nothing really good about it, except the location, near Palenque
Nothing at all, price does not match to cleanness of property, not the size of the room, Not good connection of internet.
The hotel is in the jungle. It is very relaxing to sit in the pool listening to the frogs and insects. We also saw and heard a troop of monkeys high in the trees. It was quite lovely.
The property is fabulous and we have no negative comments.
Fantastic setting, from the reception area palapa to the surrounding jungle. Exceptional feature is the troop of howler monkeys that call the trees above the property home! Beautiful decor and ambience, plus excellent service.
No in-house dinner option, yet reception able to easily arrange delivery from nearby restaurants.
The place is really cool, the bath outside every room is super.
The bed sheets weren’t clean, we found a lot of insects in the room and there was a small opening at the bottom of the door which left room for bigger insects to come in. Considering it’s in the middle of a jungle, this is something we wished to avoid. Not enough bath salts and shampoos were provided for the bath outside and the water was also cold. The pool was dirty when we got there. Staff members although nice and helpful didn’t know any English so it made it hard to communicate.
Fantastic location, you can look right into the jungle from the terrace of the room. Every room is its own small building with private terrace and jacuzzi. It is quite big but with almost no furniture (e.g. no chairs). The openness adds to the jungle feeling. The shower was the best one I had in Mexico. Plenty of space, good pressure on the water, the cold water is cold and the hot water is hot. And very nice shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in cute little jars.
Just small little nits; the fan control of the airco unit in our room didn't work, it was always on maximum, so very noisy. The breakfast is quite expensive for simple toast with jam and fruits. It's a bit too far from town to go in foot to a restaurant, so you always have to take car out taxi - the jungle Maya next door is a bit meh.
Great location and excellent staff. I highly recommend this hotel if you visit Palenque
Breakfast area could be slightly bigger.
Lovely bungalow with large patio in the jungle. The pool was right opposite the jungle so we saw howler monkeys, large iguanas and squirrels from the pool! Very comfortable beds and effective air conditioning.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant and the restaurants in the immediate vicinity were either closed or not very appealing. We went into town where there were excellent restaurants so it wasn’t a big problem but it means a taxi or colectivo ride to get food. I recommend taking snacks with you as they are impossible to buy without going into town.
Utterly charming spot with beautifully designed cabins, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with lovely products and picturesque veranda with huge bath tub immersed in luscious tropical gardens.
The room was functional and comfortable, the staff was lovely and the breakfast was simple but really fresh and good.Book a massage, the therapist is incredible!
The rooms are more outdated than on the pictures, the "private pool" from your room has nothing private as it is along the path of all other rooms. The main swimming pool had a milky aspect and so we avoided using it at all.
Clean, simple & surrounded by plants & natures sounds. Helpful staff with arranging an excellent tour guide for the archeological site & booking taxi to restaurant. Such a treat to have a spa treatment in that environment too.
The pool is great and directly to the jungle. The staff is very kind. The rooms are as shown in the pictures. The Maya Ruins close nu are absolutely worth a visit. It was mindblowing! The birds, Agoeti, squirls and butterflies in and around the hotel made the stay complete.
There is no restaurant, but there are different Nice restaurants close by to walk to. There are possibilities to get a drink at the hotel or at the pool.
The location is great.
No value for the money, rooms are not really maintained and jacuzzi doesn’t even work, besides the fact that it looks very dirty so wouldn’t actually use it either way. For the stars they claimed and the price paid it’s really not worth it. The rooms are also not well sealed or checked as we woke up with a tarantula on the wall next to our bed, which of course can happen given that you’re in the jungle, but gives away the poor maintaining of their rooms.
Exceptional location with jungle vibes and comfort. Super friendly staff.
Nothing. Second time here already and would come back!
