Yes, there were people drinking beer (cans) and eating food in the pool area. The waste stayed there for a day and half. Not family friendly. I am not sure the men were guests of the hotel. Had over 15 beers. On the good side, the staff was excellent

Cool room, fresh sheet, heated pool
- The smell of the kitchen in the lobby, hallways and room through the vent. - Towels were not always consistently replaced - sometimes only one hand towel and I had to ask for face cloths if I wanted one (Which I always do) - More variety for breakfast

The pool was not open and was not aware of this until we arrived.
