The location was great; many restaurant choices nearby as well as the shopping district. Staff were great.
We happen to be there during Carnival; the volume of the bands was deafening and sleep was hard to come by. The hotel is older so rooms are basic. I didn't like that there were stairs into the room. Bathroom was small. Restaurant menu was very limited.
walls are thin. you can hear people from outside the room. windows for interior rooms face a wall.
The room was clean and nicely done. I was blown away by the friendly staff. They were helpful and accommodating.

The noise… it is party central right outside the window until about 3 o’clock in the morning. We now know why there is earplugs beside the bed. My husband got little sleep.

Our sea view balcony room had a great view and a nice small private balcony, but was on the main “drag” with partiers driving by with their stereos blasting until close to midnight.
The property was great. Room was really nice, staff were friendly, great location. Would recommend for any day except busy nights on the Malecón (due to the excessive noise).
Avoid staying at this location on a Saturday. I can sleep through anything but the Malecón madness kept me up until it quietened down late at night.

Beautiful location on the Malecon. Friendly and helpful staff.
But noisy on Saturday nights with everyone out and about playing music. But it’s all part of the vibe.

too small .. not enough parking spaces and no swimming pool

The elevator was out of service, and the only compensation offered was a glass of juice. I wasn’t even provided a complimentary breakfast.
