- Always very polite and professional. This is one of the finest resorts in the area offering complete luxury and peace of mind.
- The hotel and pool area were clean.
- Very clean. Good restaurant options at the marina. Beautiful pool.
Cons -
- all good.
- for the price, I would expect better customer service. We asked for a better room and they did not accomodate and the hotel was empty. I would also expect complimentary coffee in the mornings like most other hotels offer.
- Over 5 miles to town limited some of our activities

Very clean. Good restaurant options at the marina. Beautiful pool.
Over 5 miles to town limited some of our activities
The hotel has a beautiful private beach with incredibly bright colors and very clean water and sand. It also feels very safe. The staff is is welcoming, smiling, and always ready to help. The rooms are nicely designed, with good spacing and high-quality amenities like shampoo and lotion. Overall, the entire hotel has a very thoughtful and aesthetically pleasing design, which definitely stands out.
The hotel does not offer 5-star amenities, even though it is advertised as a 5-star property. It’s actually a small hotel, and I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels around the world with larger and better-equipped rooms, as well as more complete amenities like nicer pools. The beach club is pretty and well-organized but quite small, so I’m not sure how it would handle high-season crowds. There were also issues with communication. For example, “breakfast included” only covers the Americano breakfast, but this isn’t explained anywhere, so we still ended up having to pay at the restaurant.
staff was very friendly & attentive, everything was clean and the massage at the spa was everything!
The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The place was clean and the food at the restaurant was excellent. The pool staff was very friendly and kind. I enjoyed the music at the pool. It gave it an upbeat vacation vibe. The staff had shuttled us around the resort so the made it easy to get around and visit family that was staying nearby. I liked that we could walk to the beach club and that we had choices for dinner. The food everywhere was delicious even for the pickiest eater. I will definitely be back.
The only thing I didn't like was there wasn't a mirror in the room. Just the bathroom. I was traveling with my adult grandson, so it made it challenging for us to get ready at the same time.
The location and the pool on the beach!
They were very understaffed and we had to wait a very long time for everything (at the restaurant, room service, at the bar etc...) for the price per night I feel they should have more staff and better service
Clean and beautiful property with a well kept cactus and succulent garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s next to a beautiful. It has three swimming pools and a hot jacuzzi that overlooks the beach, perfect for watch the sunset. The food at the restaurant if oof high quality. I’m not sure when it was built but it felt quite new.
Prices are very high for the food and drinks at the restaurants and bars. Going to La Paz is a 15-20 min drive by car or taxi (no public transport). Information on what amenities are part of the hotel, what is included and what not was lacking. Staying at a gated yacht marina felt a little isolated as if you don’t want to be part of Mexico.
-Quiet, beautiful location-Nicely decorated rooms-Great beach club
-Nothing
Hotel staff so accommodating to our needs. The pool was fantastic with a swim up bar with stools you could sit on. Great pool depth as I can't swim. Views from the restaurant wonderful as well as the food.
The location and the whole hotel
The beds and pillows
Loved how close it was to the beach and the beach club. The pool is very nice. The food in the Barco Restaurant was excellent. Very quiet area all around and easy to take a taxi downtown and back.
I wish they had a jacuzzi at the pool area and that their work out room was bigger with more weights. You are out of luck if something is using the weights you need.
friendly staff especially giovani in the barco restaurant and raul at the beach was amazing so friendly knowledgeable and knew what we wanted before we did ?
the main pop area isn’t great, there are a lot of steps and the food options aren’t great and are expensive for what you get
greatly renovated rooms. Nice and supportive staff.
I would have enjoyed a bar available for after dinner drink
Cleanliness, amenities, friendly staff, location
Not a lot of cabinets/drawers to store clothes and personal items. No fans or good conditions for the bartenders at the swim up bar. They were dripping sweat all the time. Not fair for them.
Shuttle service was good
Checking in, made reservation for Carbon, went to room. returned to lobby to find out that Carbon was not available because of some party. Disappointing. The other restaurant was rather mediocre. Checking out we had an issued but nothing horrible.
Rooms are comfortable
SSI was under construction ? ,and there was an hurricane ? coming so no beach club even though the weather was fine ! No spa appointments available
- Pool are is quite nice and service was great- The beach was beautiful, although there were not lounge chairs, sun bed or anywhere to be. No service either- Breakfast is served until noon- Staff was super kind at the end of the trip and gave us the hospitality room after checkout
- Food was not great, too expensive for what you get - The hotel was basically empty and they could not give us the room before 3 pm since they had to clean it, I´m 7 months pregnant and ask for this in advance so we could rest - We had to ask for wifi password, to know schedule for breakfast... for a 5 star hotel staff and support when arrived was quite poor
I have been going to this resort for 7 years. now that I am retiring I will be going there more frequently. The staff are the best I have ever experienced, and I have traveled worldwide
they are currently upgrading the property so it can be a little bit noisy. but they should be done soon
The grounds were very quiet as the hotel was located about 15min away from downtown la Paz. This means you have to have a rental car to get around. The beds were also very comfortable and we had a gorgeous view. There is an AMAZING coffee shop next to the boat docs on the hotel community grounds, which had the best coffee I've add and very tastee treats. This was my favorite part of staying at this hotel.
The food was VERY expensive and not very good at the hotel and in the community around the hotel. We tried 2 hotel restaurants and the bar and 1 restaurant by the docs and all were very mediocre with very pricy menus. None of the menus were diverse, so we had a lot of burgers. None had Mexican traditional food on the menu and everything was over salted. very meh. Also, the shower in the middle of the room was glass, so there's no privacy. How strange to have two twin beds implying non romantic cohabitants and also sexy shower. My son had to leave the room every time I wanted to wash up. Serious design flaw.
