Hotel La Hacienda de la Langosta Roja

Pros +

• The hotel is 1 block from the beach but in town. It was clean and had an accommodating, thoughtful staff. It was Christmas & the hotel was charmingly decorated & festive. There is fresh drinking water & cookies in the morning.
• The perfect location to walk in downtown and the Malacon. The beach is just two short blocks away. They have on site ungated parking with 24 hour security. They dont tell you but they have coffee, juice, water , cereal and toast in the morning.
• Friendly staff. Close to beach, and 24 hour amenities.

Cons -

• The town is dirty, dusty, touristy by day & very loud by night. You can hear the sounds of ATV¿s, loud blasting music, barking dogs all night long. We moved rooms on Christmas Eve, add fireworks to the noise all night long. We left early w/no refund.
• The beds were rock hard and the hotel is located between two very loud bars. The house behind our room has dogs that barked all night making it hard to sleep. They have Wi-Fi but the password didn¿t work and the office didn¿t know how to fix it.
• The restaurant closed too early.
