Pros +
- quaint mexican flavor,on site restaurant, courtyard, friendly, English speaking staff. Just a short walk to downtown.But be careful...there are no taxis , so keep in mind that you also have to walk back. All guests I met were there for dental work.

- No bar, no lobby or any place to hang out during hot, summer months. On my first stay, my room had a window looking out to the courtyard, but on this stay my room had no window at all. Rooms both had A/C, big flatscreen, tile floors, queen bed. Very clean
- The bed was very hard. A lot of noise made early in the morning.
- the maintenance staff should be more polite and less noisy. They do not train enough to the people handling the restaurant. Swimming pool is nice but can be cleaner. For example, I saw trash left in the chairs and stayed there instead of having it out.

Pool our of commission - no notification???
No smoke detectors. If fire in hallway we had no means of escape as widows were bared up
The staff was awesome, so helpful and kind. Most spoke fluent english and helped us with our limited spanish. The food in restaurant was very very good with large portions. We felt very safe the entire time we were there. We will return in a heart beat.

It was within walking distance of the border.
No blow dryer...I couldn't flush toilet paper (there was a sign telling me not to)...The hotel required a $50 deposit upon arrival and you picked it up when you checked out. Other than that, it was great.
