This hotel is in Mexicali, just a 15-minute drive from the US border. It has a fitness center overlooking the outdoor pool, as well as air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. The rooms at Hotel Calafia feature carpeted floors, wooden furniture and flat-screen satellite TV. Each one comes with a private bathroom with a hairdryer, as well as views of the grounds. The hotel’s cafe-restaurant serves Mexican food. There is also a sports bar with big screens, a pool table and foosball. Mexicali Airport is a 30-minute drive away. - The air conditioner would only cool to 81 degrees F. Too warm! The tv remote did not work. They brought another remote and it also did not work.
