Front desk and travel desk professionals. If it were not for them, we would not have made it to our 11-day cruise at another port. Agent sent us wrong information. Fortunately, walked to Yokohama port to see ship and it was not there.

Located in Chinatown. My husband is Chinese and we had arrived from Shanghai.

I like the location closed to bus and train.

You can not control room temperature.

Beds are very very hard!!!

the quality of food was very disappointing, also using plastic cups for coffee and tea was very sad.

Although the hotel is older it was clean and comfortable. It was close to supermarkets and some places of interest.

The hotel is right in Chinatown and room is comfortable. There are several varieties for breakfast. Most of sightseeing are within walking distance of this hotel.

The hotel does not provide free parking. It charges ~2000 per night.

The hotel’s location was ideal, with plenty of dining options just steps away. The bell staff were exceptionally friendly and even helped us park our large van. I also appreciated the complimentary water provided by the hotel.

The pillows were much too soft, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. There were no trash liners in the bins, so any residue from our trash could create a mess. Additionally, the air conditioner’s control panel was not in English, making it challenging to use.

I Requested multiple times checkout invoice with VAT from the Hotel and didn't accept.also I asked from booking.com customer service several times but received No reply at all

I like the location very near at the chinatown and a station? the staff are so friendly and nice.

Loved the location in the heart of Chinatown. Our room had a view of Chinatown lights and streets. The room had enough space with a closet, 2 full sized beds and a small table with a chair. Things seemed dated but clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It offered a great assortment of breads, croissants, danish pastries, a chef taking egg orders, alongside pre-made scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon. There were Chinese items like congee, mapo tofu, stir fried noodles and rice. A yogurt bar with some fresh fruit and other toppings. A lovely salad bar with 3 types of dressings. Assorted fresh juices, teas and coffee.

There was the smell of smoke in the room, but we opened the window and there was an air purifier, so that helped. Also the parking in the garage was well staffed, but very tight.

Good location! Right in China town, very convenient for different cousins and fun places around.

The front desk staff members are pretty ridged on checkout timing not even an hour flexibility allowed. Stupid enough!!!

The Rose Hotel is a great one. A beautiful, Classical styled Hotel. Situated at the beginning of Chinatown in Yokohama. A great location. The staff were very welcoming and kind. They hold your luggage for you if you arrive too early for check in, which is at 3pm. Everything is within walking distance. Konbinis, Chinatown restaurants, Metro, and Yamashita Park is a 5 min walk away. It’s a beautiful classic Hotel. With a Chinese Restaurant inside as well as their store, to buy food items. I added the breakfast included. Which is a nice buffet of both Western and Eastern food. Also, they give you a voucher for free drinks and snacks from 4-9pm. A very nice compliment! I used it every night. Thank You to the Hotel for this. My room was nice. A 2-Queen size beds with window view of back street. Refrigerator, safe, and complimentary amenities, including slippers. food,location, Hotel and staff, were more than wonderful! I will definitely be staying again in the future.

This is a nice hotel right in Chinatown and near Yamashita park. You can also walk to Minato Mirai 21 port area, which is lovely especially lit up in the evening.

There was some confusion over the bed in our room. We booked an extra-large family bed, presuming we would actually fit in it. We did not. It was a normal 1.80m bed, and nowhere near big enough for 4 people. Perhaps if you are sleeping with two very young children, it would be ok. But ours are aged 11 and 9, and only one of them fitted in the bed with us. I don't understand why Booking is allowing this configuration to be booked for families. We were told we had to pay extra each night to use the sofa bed. In the end our younger child slept on the floor, which she didn't mind, but we were taken by surprise by this issue.

Location was good and the room was big.

The property was quite old. The curtains, sheets were old styles. The tv wont let you put up the volume any higher than 30. It was hard to hear it and we tried to complain about it, the hotel staff told us that it was a their policy and that it was set that way so there wouldn't be any noise leaking to the next room. I understand the concern but also, it was so invonvinient and unfair to some guests.

The hotel is large and offers a decent range of services. Rooms are comfortable with space to relax. The Chinatown area is lively and is a good base from which to explore Yokohama and to visit Tokyo. The staff, and concierge in particular, were incredibly helpful with guiding us to local attractions and also taking care of forwarding luggage.

Very helpful staff, spacious and comfortable room and wonderful Szechuan restaurant in the hotel. Airport bus stops in front of the hotel. We didn't know this before we travelled but noted the signage and the people using this service when we were there.

The staff are fantastic and the hotel is very close to China Town. Trolly bus stop is outside the hotel as well as the coach to the airport. Easy walking to shops and scenic sites and views.

It is a lovely older style hotel with large rooms compared to other Japanese hotels.There was a very good helpful staff member who spoke English fluently. It made a great difference to our stay.

Pillows were a bit hard and needed replacing.

Great location, staff were friendly. Like the "happy hour" for customers, a nice drink and nibblies.

Wish the bed was not so hard. Also would be better if bed was a little higher from the floor.
