Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama Sakuragi-cho - Renovated in June 20th 2025

The location, the cleanliness, the extra amenities!!!

The pillows were the only negative.

They called a taxi for us and had the driver come up (the lobby is on the second floor) to pick us up.

Location is very convenient. Staffs are very helpful. This is our second time to stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama Sakuragi-cho.

I loved how clean and quiet this property is! The station is really close and I loved the breakfast as well

I booked a room with a bit of extra space. It was a smoking room as the only room left available. Besides the smell of cigarette, everything of the hotel was awesome: cleanliness, value, location, comfortableness, facilities, yummy breakfast etc. We have had a very good stay in Yokohama. The hotel is very near to Akarenga etc. Plus, there is an entrance to the Bashamichi Train station right in front of the hotel. Super convenient!!!

Breakfast has variety and ramen. Spacious and clean room.

Great location right next to the subway and close to the harbour. The room is spacious and comfortable. Check-in and check-out are super convenient since everything is done by machine. Overall a very easy and pleasant stay.

ALL facilities, the hotel is near all attractions from Yokohama , all people that work in the hotel tried to help

Maybe the hotel needs to think in a service to storage luggage to the customer

Great hotel central to all the fun at yokahams walk / really easy transport and bus to chins town also to Yokohama station

The hotel is only metres away from two train station exits (No 3 and 5). The reception is on the second floor along with the breakfast area. The bed was a good size as was the bathroom, by Japanese standards.The hotel is located within walking distance of many tourist areas, shopping malls and eating places. It was quiet inside the room.The staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The facilities inside the room were well provided.Breakfast was also a good standard.Enjoyed our two night stay and would recommend it.For a very reasonable extra fee we didn't check out until 2pm which suited our flight time.

A thicker mattress topper commonly used in hotels would be a great addition. The current pad is very uncomfortable.

Tight space

Disembarking from a cruise, Sotetsu Fresa Inn Yokohama Sakuragi-cho is just 5 minutes bus ride from the bus stop Osanbashi-iriguchi outside the Osanbashi pier. You can walk to most attractions. The Bashamichi station exit is right outside the door. The Superior Double room is spacious and clean, complete with toiletries (which you can get at the reception area). The free breakfast buffet that came with the rate have limited choices but was very filling. I special like that they offer freshly cooked ramen upon order.

Superb amenities. I was already wowed by the options when I was there but now that I had stayed at different places, they really knocked it out of the park and outperformed a more expensive favorite hotel of mine in this department. The cleansing oil they gave was fantastic. I loved the sweet honey tea. And believe it or not, they had Halloween limited edition bath salt on top of other existing bath salt types. The working space is neat. Taller customers might face issues as the ceiling is on the lower side though. But overall it was more than comfortable.

The lower ceiling can give a slightly claustrophobic feel and less than adequately ventilation, that’s where the existing room & fabric freshener came in handy.

The staff were extremely helpful and patient in answering questions and arranging luggage forwarding to our next destination. The check in and check out process was smooth and efficient. Location to transportation and activities was excellent and the breakfast was very good with Japanese and Western options.

The air conditioning was a bit underpowered and the after flushing the water would run for an extended time beyond what was required for the job. The mattresses were a little hard but the room size was fine and it was quiet.

The staff was very polite and helpful. They called a taxi for us when we needed. The location was so close to the train station. The $8 breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.

The AC in the room was set to a whopping 23C during the peak of summer! This is unacceptable!

I always love staying at Sotetsu Fresa Inn! Incredibly helpful staff, making checking-in and checking-out super easy. Staff spoke English and provided great service throughout my entire stay. The hotel was in a great location, close to the train station and nearby attractions. It was super convenient having an on-site laundromat. The room was clean, and the bed was super comfy. The luggage storage was convenient and allowed me to explore Yokohama without the hassle of dragging my bags around with me upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again!
