Richmond Hotel Yokohama-Bashamichi

Great location great value welcoming staff. The only issue is they need to upgrade their TVs so hotel guest can login to there streaming apps and use it to wind down after doing 25-30k steps for the day. Other than that the place amazing and comfortable.

Just recommend upgrading their tvs to smart tvs to allow guest to sign in to their streaming services.

This hotel provides lots of amenities such as shaver, moisturizer lotion, very good toothbrush and toothpaste, facial masks, bathtub salt, green tea and drip coffee.

The full size bed a bit small for 2 adult and 7 year old kids.

Location is convenient with 3 train lines. It’s quite neighborhoods so it is nice.

Our first night was in a double bed room and it was so small for family as the booking recommended me that room . We ended upgraded to double twin beds so it is so much better. I would recommend family to not book one bed cause it won’t fit.

Very nearby local Kannai station which leads to Yokohama Station with the JR Lines. Walkable to most of the hotspots in/around Yokohama Bay

The property is clean and easy access tp train station JR line and subway. Lots of Restaurat choices. The staff are all accommodating and responsive all the time. And you can use breakfast coupon to their recommended restaurant near the hotel.

Quite location within easy walking distance to all we required. two rail lines very close. Lots of different restaurants. Starbucks and 7/11

Only one low pillow each but when requested more came within 10 min

The breakfast was a nice change from buffets of standard fare. The location was excellent for subway and train access, and the neighborhood was quiet. The laundry facilities were .needed and worked well for me.

The cafe by the hotel lobby was great although the choice of what to eat is standardised and predetermined hence limited. However, there is an option to visit several restaurants neighbouring the Hotel. The staff at the Hotel was very helpful.

Good location, pleasant staff, always someone that could speak English on reception, good laundry facilities. Yes I would stay there again.

Somethings are good .

Bed is very small . Two adults and one child can't shared that bed.

It had a great staff who worked with us well. They had a place to hold luggage if we needed to walk around before or after check in or check out.

It was a little difficult to find.

There are dart, book corner, and coffee in laundry room. It is lively. Interestingly, the cafe has customer most of the time. The coffee maybe good but got no chance to try.

The location - near subway lines.

The cleaning staff forced me to agree to have my room cleaned completely when I was coughing from a severe asthma I developed from the bad air. I had just returned from the urgent care in Tokyo and was told to rest by a doctor.

The location was good, say acces to the public transportation.

Laundry room massage chairs were not working

The location was very good for us. The hotel facilities felt a little dated, but cleanliness standards were good.

We paid to have breakfast on one of the days, but there were limited options and the western options were unfortunately not to our taste at all. We ordered french toast, which came with sauted potatoes, bacon and scrambled eggs. All elements of the breakfast had been sweetened. I'm not sure if this is down to American influences or a Japanese interpretation of a western breakfast!

Excellent Hotel. Very nice staff. Great location close to the cruise port and tourist attractions. Close to many restaurants, convenience stores and coffee shops. Very clean and comfortable. would definitely stay here again if stopping over in Yokohama. Good value for money

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly whilst being very professional and courteous. Great location close to several subway’s and 2 JR stations too. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable with plenty of toiletries available as well as refreshments. Laundry facilities, microwave and massage chair available for use too. Very central and close to town centre, numerous shops, restaurants and convenience stores. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Yokohama again.
