Daiwa Roynet Hotel Yokohama-Koen

Clean and roomy. Location was excellent across From Yokohama stadium, close to international Port (walking distance w luggage) and train station.

Bed was a bit firm but we were so tired it did not matter.

Room was very clean in all aspects, especially the bedding sheets and bathroom. Amenities provided were excellent and exceeded rating given this hotel.

Location of front desk was in an unlikely place - 3rd floor of the building. Should have been indicated on reservation form to avoid confusion on arrival.

Very affordable. Staff spoke English and I was checked in in no time. Room was smallish but totally fine for 1-2 people. Everything was clean and worked.

Amenities are on the 3rd floor. Things like lotion or brushes. Not a huge deal. Basics like soap and towels are still in the room.

Very well designed hotel for its purposes, with a business orientation, excellent for solo travelers. Very quiet, comfortable bed, efficiently laid-out room. Breakfast was fine - many offerings. Good amenities. I found the location very good also since the hotel is very close to Chinatown - I ate my dinners there. (Almost a bewildering number of options.).

There was some construction going on at a property nearby - not while I was there, because it was the weekend and a holiday, but I did wonder if that would affect noise during the day.

We stayed double bed room and two twin beds room. My partner made double bed room reservation thinking two beds. The room was clean but tiny at the tail end of the trip we came back to same place and this time I made a reservation for two twin beds room, which was very roomy and well equipped. They have two laundry rooms which was very convenient. We’ll stay there again.

If you have two twin beds room, it was pretty good size room.

It was conveniently located just right next to China town. The rooms is spacious and well equipped I was surprised that there’s a microwave and hair iron inside the room.

Bed is a little bit stiff and the pillows but it’s tolerable.

Location is perfect. It is near harbor and you always can take a short walk after busy day. The room was clean. All additional facilities were provided.

The location, the staff, and the services. It is close to the Minatomirai Nihon-Odori station which provides connections to Yokohama, Tokyo, Narita, etc.. It is also close to major attractions such as Yamashita Park, China Town, and Motomachi. The staff are effective and responsive. The house keeping and other services are top notch.

It's Only a short walk to the cruise terminal and the water front attractions like the red warehouse building. Few minutes walk to the popular yokohama Chinatown where there are countless Chinese restaurants and snacks are welcoming. The facility is newly updated and the service by the staffs are professional and responsive.

The room is quite small that cannot open a big luggage fully on the floor nor anywhere inside. With the price range the hotel is changing, there's other better options around the vicinity

Just a short walk to Chinatown and right across the street from Yokohama Stadium home to the Yokohama DeNa BAYSTARS. Close to stations, shopping malls and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel in Yokohama. The location was excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the city. The room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a very pleasant and convenient stay.

The room felt very tight with limited space, which made it a bit difficult to move around comfortably.

A little expensive for the Hotel ranking

Room fairly good for Japanese type hotels. Location excellent. Breakfast - good. enjoyable.Exceutive chair provided for work is very good with sufficient working desk. - VERY IMPORTANT for business travelers.

Excellent location. Walking distance from Chinatown and the port. The hotel room was small but very comfortable, especially enjoyed the comfy bed. The breakfast was also very nice.

I miss the human touch of the hotel experience. Although there was a front desk staff, a lot of the check in and check out process was done with a computer, which I know is the norm now, but takes away from the hotel experience for me.

1. Check-in process is unusually cumbersome;2. Refrigerator in switches-off mode by default, and when you turn it on a bright orange light illuminates that makes sleeping difficult;3. Need to manually turn on aircon each time you enter room;4. Only 1 bottle of water in room (most hotels give 2);5. No "Do Not Disturb" indicator for door;6. Bright LED lights on ceiling smoke alarm and wall aircon panel disturbs sleep;7. Rooms curtains are not blackout.

Yamashita Park is pretty close, the area of Yokohama is easy to get to and explore surrounding areas. You can get to this location on JR trains easily from Tokyo.The room itself was very nice. For the price it definitely exceeded my expectations. There is a Combini onsight that is 24/7 just outside of the lobby, inside of the building.In Yokohama near the baseball stadium and the park, this must be the best value you can find. My first stay in a Daiwa property and I was extremely satisfied.
