Yokohama Tokyu REI Hotel

The staff were always very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a nice quiet area and very close to the subway and train stations. It's got some great view of the city - depending on which side you're on. And bonus - you can open the windows, which is always welcome! It's designed and decorated nicely and always kept very clean. We were lucky to have one of the higher floors so it was nice to have the views. There's loads of places to eat / drink nearby and two convenience stores across the street.

The hotel had very clean and quiet rooms with good room service. There was an air purifier in the room in addition to the AC, which satisfied my friend. The hotel was close to the subway station, which made traveling very easy.

The breakfast at this hotel is quite limited. Other than the meat don and seafood don, there is only salad (both Japanese and Western style) and bread left. I don't eat seafood, so there are very limited choices left. So I don't recommend the ones that don't enjoy chicken (or pork) don or seafood don come to the breakfast.

It offered a clean functional room and very convenient location for my work trip - walking distance to PACIFICO Yokohama and Yokohama station from/to Haneda airport and Tokyo city centre.

The location and the breakfast was really good

The amenities and the bathroom was smelly that was the worst thing from my stay

There’s a 7-11 downstairs

Not sure if the hotel knows about the concept of pre-registration for early check-in guests, if the room’s not available yet, could practice registering guests info first, when guests return simply present valid and pickup room keys. No bottled water in the room, room smells unpleasant of smokes and mold, washroom smells like urine. Also feels like the room hasn’t been assigned for awhile, there’s also different than human entity in the room as well. Waiting for elevators is quite time consuming probably due to 10:00 check out time, personally think it’s quite early. Considering room’s not even that sanitary to begin with.

no drawer to put you clothing away this is common in most Japan Hotel

The staff is exceptional and so happy to help they are what made my stay so special and wonderful! All of them were so courteous and kind and caring and did everything they could to help me out with everything from taxi arrangements to spa appointments to directions, truly exceptional service!!!

The rooms could use a little more TLC and upgrade a little. They are tiny and painted black and there’s no closet it’s tiny.

The service: This is our first visit to Japan and being vegetarians (no meat, no fish, no eggs), they prepared a different, yet delicious breakfast for us for all 7 days of our stay The location: We could explore both central Tokyo as well as Yokohama with much ease - the various lines were very near Intend visiting Yokohama for the Green Expo in ‘27 and Yokohama REI would be the stay choice

Still trying to figure out - probably larger discounts for longer stays would be nice ?

New, modern, size of room, proximity to train stations, good service at breakfast

Other than a couple of reception staff, most others do not communicate effectively. Perhaps should be more welcoming e.g. look up from the computer when guests enter the reception area

If your room is on the Yokohama Station side, the view is good. On the other side, that is, Yokohama Bay side, it's okay.

If you are in a room near the elevator hall, you may be bothered by the noise.The temperature control of the room is not good. The breakfast side dishes are few and not worth the price.

This was our first time in Japan and the Yokohama Tokyo REI Hotel did not disappoint! It was easily reached by train and the nearby metro took us to all the sights. The breakfasts were wonderful - good food; beautifully presented. The twin room was ample in size and very comfortable! We will definitely return here on our next trip to Japan!

The hotel restaurants were only open during short times but we found 7/11 store close by that had lovely food. The hotel staff were excellent.
