Alpine Hotel

room was modern, clean. nice small private outdoor space.

main entrance is odd to find, no pull-off for a vehicle. carpark is in a one-way side alley and cannot be used until after you've checked in, with no instructions on where to go to check-in. dismissive staff claimed email explained this, which it didn't.

The horse and jockey bar attached to the hotel is a bit sketchy. Ok for a few beers

Room was spacious, well equipped, very clean and easy to get to. The staff were excellent and very approachable.

Beds weren't as comfortable as we'd hoped. A balcony was advertised but was walled up with no view. It was rather expensive for one night.

Really nice new clean bathroom and comfortable room with the option for fresh air as well as air con.

the price it great. The location is perfect for those flying in Christchurch late and ready to move one next morning. Several Chinese restaurants close by seemed to be for us. The host is very kind and helpful.

Parking inside the building is great, but you have to talk to manager to learn how to get into it .

Alpine hotel say they are 5 star for me they would be 4 star the bed was lovely and comfortable & clean Shower was clean and good pressure

The fridge had a build up of ice the door of the freezer compartment was wedge open by the ice I took it upon myself to help the cleaner I unplug the fridge to start to the defrost process put the towels in the fridge to stop a flood Hopefully the staff realized i was trying to helpthis is not a 5 star hotel to have a fridge in this state

In door parking was great and the cleanliness was excellent and the bed was super comfortable. The stuff was so welcoming.

The bathroom was nice

It was very unwelcoming, the entrance was seedy, sharing the entrance to a pup and gaming room. , the entrance to the car park was filthy with rubbish and grime all the way down the alley. It smelled awful. They Key card packet was clearly second hand, could they not afford a fresh envelope?

Smooth and easy late arrival instructions. The room was perfect for work, with a great desk, a well-equipped kitchenette, and a private enclosed balcony for fresh air. The hotel was quiet and felt very corporate-friendly, and the bar next door was relaxed and low-key.The room was comfortable, the TV had Chromecast/Amazon Fire Stick for easy streaming, and the secure, camera-monitored guest-only parking was a big plus. Really enjoyed my stay. I would have expected to stay to pay more for such a room!

Clean room, easy access and the room had a balcony. The bathroom heater was great too!

The location was good and the room was pleasant. Wifi worked ok.

Some kind of better arrangement for the car park should be made so the car park entry / exist could not be blocked by stray cars in a narrow lane behind the shops. It can be quite stressful if you are in a hurry.

Good location with shops nearby. Quiet. Good as a base to go out from.

Could replace mugs with nicer ones, also body lotion and conditioner

Such a lovely room at a low cost, it was a dream to walk into after a long day in the sun. Would love to stay here again. Everything was clean and cozy and private.

It was a bit out of the way, but the bus services are so good and Church Corner has a lot to offer, not to mention easy access to Riccarton. Direct bus routes to CBD and airport. You MIGHT be able to hear the bar beneath you on a big night but they close at 10pm and I didnt notice them at all despite having a room directly above them.

Convenient location with parking garage in the basement. Rooms were tidy and comfortable, perfect for our short stay.

There was no view on the balcony, lil disappointed it was coved with four walls
