The Classic Villa

Location.

Service for the price. Facility shows parking on the site but when booking with no payment cancellation is done responds with limited availability and public day time pay parking nearby. Snacks for breakfast only, strict checkout time and no restrooms available when picking up a luggage.

Beautiful building, comfy bed and wine and beer to purchase.

Very welcoming and warm staff. Very clean.. Excellent location close to restaurants, museums, and a beautiful park..

Room had neither AC or a fan, so the room very stuffy at night.

It was so nice to spend a day out then come back to make a hot drink in the kitchen and sit in the spacious, comfortable lounge. The outside area looked good too. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was quite small, and difficult to manage 2 large suitcases. Cabin bag size would work well. The bathroom was quite small. Shower was very good.

The property is a wonderful B&B, the way they used to be: comfortable bedrooms, an open and welcoming common area, lovely grounds, and of course, a bountiful breakfast. The staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome and happy -- but in a gracious, unobtrusive manner. Finally, the Classic Villa is within a short walk of the city center and its beautiful parks.

Liked everything about the property; no complaints.

Hosts were welcoming and friendly. Location was central to town and I could walk to the Riverside Market and to the Scott monument. Historic property was extremely well presented and had lovely touches eg port trolley in the foyer was complimentary. Continental breakfast was fresh and tasty. Gardens are beautifully kept. Liked reading about the history of the building.

A coffee machine in the room would be a nice little addition, but free tea and coffee, cookies etc always available in the kitchen.

Lovely welcome. Hosts made us feel right at home and encouraged us to treat it like a home. Had a lovely couple of hours chilling in lounge reading after whistle stop tour of city. Right on tram route and across from major attractions. Would stay again.

This was our favorite stay on our trip thus far. Our hosts, who were filling in for the regular owners, were wonderful people and so friendly and helpful. The expansive continental breakfast was wonderful and the property is really beautiful. You can’t beat the location in terms of access to trams and walking and the major sights of Christchurch and this is the only place we’d consider staying if we returned.

Nothing. The stairs to our room would’ve been a challenge with our luggage except that the youthful porter/host took our bags for us!

Great location. Clean & quiet.

The shower had a poor design as it was on the same level as the floor, with only a curtain.

The location is perfect, close to the centre, and lots of cafes and restaurants around. The classic villa has 2 lounges and outdoor areas for guests to enjoy. It really is the best place to stay,and it was the second time we've been there,

Great location for exploring Christchurch. Room was clean with a comfy bed.Breakfast was good and host was very helpful.

Amazing Decor, Villa sparkling clean, incredible location and the amenities and facilities 10 out of 10 and last but not least super friendly helpful and kind staff !

We loved everything.

The location is very good.

The light of the sitting room is turned off about 7 or 8 pm. And also the fireplace. So we had to go back to the small bedroom very early.
