Crowne Plaza Christchurch By IHG

Location¿close to major attractions places

When checking out, they tried to charge $8 for candy which we didn¿t eat. So try not to even touch anything in bar area¿

Location was good. Room was clean and comfortable.

The view of the parking lot and swampy water wasn't pleasant

Location

Ther

Great location to explore the city right by the tram stopGreat staff Comfortable spacious room with a lovely view of city and the mountains beyond

Location

Small rooms, can’t open windows, feels like a 3 star or lower hotel

The staff and great location

Breakfast wasn’t great

The rooms were lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower had excellent pressure. I ordered room service, and it was outstanding. Additionally, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive.

check in took ages as only one member of staff

Location was good

Bathroom needed some attention build of grime and the roller curtain was a bit broken on the glass shower wall

Comfortable bed, decent size room and good bathroom facilities

Terrible breakfast when to belles on recent street around the corner

View, service, cleanliness

Nice standard room with a bench at the window - very cosy and useful! Close to city center and bar street (next door). Nice bathroom with soft towels. Parking available at an extra cost.

Hotel met my expectations in full.

Great location. Modern. Rooms beautifully appointed. Breakfast was great with a good selection of dishes. Nice to have a bit of luxury.

Good central location and quiet.

No spa or pool

The room was beautiful and well appointed. Bathroom new and very clean. The staff was very helpful.

There is no designated drop off zone at the hotel. We arrived in pouring rain and had to try to unload luggage down the street then drive around the block to get to the parking lot. There are no concierge staff to assist with the luggage. It was a disappointing start to our stay.

A very functional room, excellent location, and a comfortable bed and a good price

The wait at reception checking in

The location is great. Very close walking distance to Riverside Markets and the Avon River. Not too far from the Airport. The beds are small, but comfortable enough.

Didn't like the parking options (confusing and annoying). The offloading of bags can not be done near the entrance. Our room had no view, just a block wall to look at. Personally, I would select another location next time.

Central Location with tram stop opposite, Comfortable beds and restaurant on site

Check in seemed to last an age with endless paperwork considering it was pre booked with booking.com

Lovely staff and rooms

Shower handle was almost falling off

Location is great. Staff was lovely.

If you are driving a vehicle to this hotel, there’s not any great parking initially when you want to drop bags off. But after we got situated, they do have plenty of overnight parking.

Location, cleanliness and convenience.

The room was extremely hot, the price of the room wasn’t great value for money and we had to pay extra for parking but then the parking spot was over booked.
