Strathern Motor Lodge

spacious; excellent location

a bit dusty; with cobwebs

I am 84 years old and the manager took my baggage up to my room at 9.30 in the morning so I could keep my morning appointments elsewhere. The efficiency, the tidiness, helpfulness and location were exceptionally good.

Good parking, great central location, clean, big comfy bed, large TV, not noisey

Shower kept going cold

Comfortable bed.

$## noises from room next door....thin walls.

Disappointing

WiFi is really bad and that's a big minus. The bathroom smelled of fried onion when someone was cooking. The sofa bed is really thin and uncomfortable. Glass sliding doors aren't sound proof so we could hear the traffic from the road.

Clean and tidy. Great location. Nice hosts.

Very outdated facilities, no pressure in shower.

Handy to where friends were stayingHandy to most places

Bed was hard

Very clean motel, managers are friendly.

Cost is starting to get a bit too high.

Location

Extreme outdated decor, imagine time travel back to the 80s. You can hear neighbouring rooms. The shower head is filled with limescale which is pretty appalling. Am so glad it’s only overnight stay.

Nice spacious unit, with good facilities. Comfortable bed and sofa. Reception person was very welcoming and friendly. Great location.

Shower had reasonably big lip on the edge so had to be careful getting in and out. Also the shower nossle was quite low. We were assigned a park outside our unit but each time returned from our day out it was taken. Thankfully there were a couple of other parks. It would be good if the numbers on the parks were clear and noted for each room.

Well located clean warm accomodation Cable tv is goodWell provision kitchenette Good coffee pod machine

The room was nice and quiet, the bed comfortable and the facilities well equipped.

The shower was high pressure which is good for those that like that, however I would have liked to be able to turn it down so that the pressure is a bit softer.

Always a warm welcome and very comfortable...good parking too...clean!

The red decor...I'm a blue green girl...but was very cheery and for one night warm and closely atmosphere

Basic but well appointed room. One night stay, fridge was a decent size so I could store my breakfast stuff in it. Very good for the rate paid. I slept well, so bed must have been comfy :-). Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great location, spacious rooms, friendly staff and good value for money.

The location was great. Coffee and tea selection and amenities have exceeded my expectations.

The couch wasn't the most comfortable and the decor is a bit dated.

Good location and nice rear unit - good large tv and Sky tv

Room 3 was around the back & missed the traffic noise. The room was generously large, great big bed, separate bathroom & kitchen, big TV. Bathroom was good as was the shower. Close to town & Merivale Mall. No. 1 bus just outside motel.

All good - recommended.

Great location, and our room worked well with 5 adults staying

Parking with a larger car is hard down the side of the building, but once we had it sorted it was fine
