You need to know that this is a lock box operating motel and there may not be anybody on site when you arrive. We went out to dinner and when we came back it was chilly and we wanted to put on the heat pump we could not work the heat pump and when we rang up for assistance we were told it was too late for somebody to come and help us. They did try and help us on the phone but the heat pump was not working and that was not great because we were cold. We also had difficulty with the lighting. It was very dark even with all the lights on.

Great space and location for staying in Chch, the room is very clean, and it has most of facilitate you need for the day.

The Hairdryer in the bathroom didn't work, even though there is an instruction on the wall. I've tried many times to follow it, but it just didn't work. For the staff who clean and check the room, I suggested they inspect all the facilities before offering the room. These little things matter.

As always the studio was clean, tidy and well stacked. The reason why we decided to stay there again when in Christchurch.

Confirmed booking was not honored by the property.We arrived with a confirmed Booking.com reservation, but the property refused to provide the room at the booked price. Instead, several much higher prices were mentioned during the conversation, and we were asked to pay extra, including via an external payment link outside of Booking.com.As we did not agree to these new conditions, the property cancelled the booking on site, leaving us without accommodation and forcing us to book a significantly more expensive alternative at short notice.Price errors can happen, but the handling of this situation was confusing, inconsistent, and unprofessional. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again.

Really well set up, reasonably priced motel, with a very easy check in process. The bedroom was quite separate from the lounge and other single bed, so super practical. Had everything you'd need in the kitchen and a decent location.

The single bed was super bouncy for an adult, but would be fine for a kid.

It was all fine. A small frypan would have been useful but not an issue. Expect some street noise with windows open - it's on the main drag but fine if windows are closed.

Bealey Avenue is noisy with traffic. Wifi unavailable on last night. No staff around to contact.

Our room was spacious. The most important aspect for my wife when rating accommodation is the pressure and flow rate of the shower and these exceeded her expectations.

The no-contact aspect of the visit was novel and I felt uncomfortable 'raiding' the garage for extra toilet paper and consumables during our stay.
