The Garden Hotel

The room was spacious and had a small garden area. The location was alright.

The room was next to a group room and the walls are paper thin, you can hear people their conversations clearly. Thus I could hear different groups partying every night.

Clean bed and room good. Area location. good parking and location

Convenient location especially with being new to Christchurch. The Reception staff i was served by were fantastic especially the signing in Lady (sorry i didnt get her name)

Convenience of being close to where we needed to be

No sink.in the kitchenette so expected to fill jug in the bathroom No toilet brush very loud with banging and could hear every foot step over the bed BIGGEST HATE was the RUDE awakening by a call on the phone to say it's your wake up time not a great stay that's for sure

Easy to get into Christchurch from that location. Rooms were large and beds comfortable

It was fine and suited our needs

Beds were so comfortable Room was tidy and had all we needed for an overnight stay. Handy to airport and Manukau.Yes I would stay again.

The noises that seemed to be coming from the moving of containers or similar perhaps from the place next door, or the big dumpster bin being emptied.But would still stay again.

I liked the location thats about it

The carpet was dirty and the aircon smelled bad when you turned it on.

Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Air conditioning and free WiFi worked perfectly

Beds were good. Nice TV once you got it going.

Did not ask for a disability room. Seat in bathroom was rusted and not safe to sit on. Could not get shampoo etc out of containers. Bathroom floor was flooded out evertime we used shower. I nearly slipped over then there would have been trouble. Room was not cleaned 6.02.26 neither was our toilet paper or towels. We had to ask for room to be cleaned and linen replaced. I work with people with disabilities and this room was very inappropriate (accident waiting to happen. Hard copies in rooms of what Garden Hotel offered would have been good. Not all people have the ability to use their phones with codes. Would not recommend the disabily room we were given. I wouldn't call that room a deluxe room. Not happy with the room allocated to me especially disability one. Im quite sure I did not ask for that room.

The girl at the front desk was amazing

Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The fridge was turned off, I needed to pull it out from the wall to switch on. Only realised this well after I had put food in it.There was no kitchen sick, I had to use the bathroom sink to fill drink bottles and rinse plates. Also the chrome cast was constantly interrupted by other rooms.

Nice big rooms, clean and comfortable beds.

Great location and with the on-site restaurant was a bonus for us. Great room as we booked the twin bedroom. Couldn't fault anything. Thank you for the stay and if I make a trip back down I will be sure to book here again.

Upgraded to kitchen room. Uber to centre @ 10mins but ideal location for us close to friends

Location, parking is secured, free and near to the room, spacious room, good and clean bathroom, good kitchen space..this us like our own house…it’s like 2 bedrooms!!! We really love, love our stay!!!!

The hotel was very nice and clean and value for money..... very close to restaurant, take aways places, liquor store and convinience store

I thinl location is away from main town so you have bus or uber it which is not far but around 5-6km..rest nothing in particular

Very easy to find, and the reception staff were very pleasant.

The single bed I was on definitely was sloped to one side, which was not comfortable. The carpet had a lot of stains, and the room smelled stuffy when we first went in. We opened the windows for a few hours and it was fine after that.

Spacious

The facilities are outdated and poorly maintained. There was a persistent urine odor in the carpet during the evening. The water heater in the bathroom was malfunctioning, resulting in excessively high water temperature.
