Friendly staff, cozy and clean set up, good place to start NZ trip when arriving at christchurch

This motel was very close to pir concert venue and was clean, comfortable and quiet..

I had a lovely spacious one bedroom, complete with kitchen, so felt like a home away from home. Ubers very cheap to get into the City for Saturday night so that was great too.

Nothing bad to say

Lovely clean spacious room. Fantastic comfy beds. Great shower with excellent water pressure. Fantastic prices. Definitely recommend this place.

The shower pressure was fantastic and the beds & pillows were super comfy. My partner had 2 solid nights sleep, the 1st in a very long time. Loved we could cook food from our room too!

Parking a larger vehicle (Ute), was tight but overall we can't really complain. Access to the venue for our event was awesome.

Perfect location for us as we were staying for a concert at Wolfbrook Arena which is at the end of the street. The motel was clean, quiet (surprisingly considering it is on a main street) and well laid out. The beds were amazingly comfortable.

We didn't have any complaints.

Handily located, this motel offers lifts to and from the railway station for those doing The Tranz Alpine Train journey. The accommodation is clean and beds are comfortable. Staff - friendly and helpful.

Owner was friendly, room was decent size.

We were there for 4 nights and paid extra for a spa room. However we only got to use spa for 1 day as it was malfunctioning and at the end we couldn't use the shower as well. We were offered to use bathroom in a different room on our 4th day. Which was pretty inconvenient for our 4 night stay in this hotel. No refund was made.

Felt rather confined as room was in a corner under a stairwell.

A clean and comfortable room, with a pleasing level of space. Excellent location with a hop skip and jump into the city and neighbouring Riccarton. No traffic noise issues at all.

Starting to look just a bit tired in some aspects such as carpet and curtains. Watch the steps when it rains.

Not great

We had the worst sleep the bed was so uncomfortable. The lights come in through the curtains not black out. And the noise from the boy racer cars was unreal (obviously the traffic is no fault of the motel but if you want a good night sleep don’t recommend) the place is very outdated and expensive for what it was. We are staying in hamner springs tonight and for the $5 extra we are paying it really doesn’t compare. The furniture inside is whicker outdoor furniture and not comfy so couldn’t sit back relax and watch tv. Location is great but not worth it. Put a real downer on the experience.

Fabulous location if going to the Arena, handy to everything else. Nice clean, quiet and comfy unit.

Good location. Food shops nearby. Busstop outside.

Due to flight delays we didn't arrive until 1am. Crystal helped us enormously and put breakfast in our room so we could still make our early connection with the train the next morning. She even drove us to the train!
