Not very clean, Ants, Mold on cutting boards, No service even when asked, difficult to locate manager - usually a note on door saying back in 15 minutes

Good location for our stay

No one in reception with back in 15 min sign left for hours. Terrible communication once finally got in contact.

While outdated, the property was clean.

For $299 a night, it didn’t feel like value. I booked at 5pm and advised directly via text message I would be there at 8.45pm. When I arrived, my room was not ready so I had to wait about 10 mins in the office area. Then the owner asked me to follow him to my room. It wasn’t what I had booked - instead it was a two bedroom upstairs unit which was very old and outdated. I appreciate the owners had tried to make it comfortable and it was clean. He used the master key to open the unit and then went to leave without giving me a key. It felt unnerving for someone else to have the only access to the unit I was staying in. I ended up sleeping with the lights on as I was there in my own. I was kept awake all night by noisy water pipes and a constant drip in the ceiling.

Price, location

Lack of privacy, people could see in front. Carport area, workers working in carport area, bathroom was terrible and people could see in from carport.

A very old motel that needs a good jif, a bit sticky on the cupboards and cupboard doors don’t shut properly just overall very old and noisy

Even though the cleaning was done and was tidy everything needed to be cleaned properly with a good quality cleaner the floors weren’t mopped lots of rubbish under the couches.

Good value for your money

Not enough tea and coffee in rooms ,table was sticky and more pillows and towels

The man was very friendly, he told me that he had just brought the business 2 weeks ago and said it was in need of a lot of love - I liked his honesty, and hope it all works out for him

No hot water when we went to have a shower after getting back soaking wet from a concert. Was looking forward to a hot shower, but after waiting 5mins for it to heat up we gave up

Needs to have revamp. Dated and some damp patches around windows

Friendly, helpful staff, was a very hot, busy, stressful day and made our arrival excellent. Unit worked well for us

Had to get them to unlock 2nd bedroom.Place is extremely run down. We had no milk and only a couple of teabags when we had 4 adults.

It was clean, well set up and the lady couldn’t have been nicer. Went to get some milk for us when we arrived so we could have some tea Gifford example

Great location to airport - and bonus points for how quiet it was given the proximity!

I must have been in an older unit - it showed in the wear-and-tear apparent on every single surface including the stove in the kitchenette, mold in the shower and around the windows in the ample bathroom. Bed covering and curtains were not in their best conditions. Certainly workable, but I had higher expectations given the pictures provided on this site.The main "living" area was cramped due to an extra bed that I didn't need. The toilet would run if the button wasn't fiddled with to make it stop. While airflow was sufficient for cooling the unit during my stay, there is no AC. Not an issue for me, but something for older travelers to be aware of. Note that the location is a minimum 15 min walk to intersections at either end of the main road the motel sits at; restaurants are not close by. While the bus stop is convenient, it isn't a major route (hence the need for a longer walk).

The motel is quite old and dated, but everything is functional and the bed was very good. We had a one bedroom unit and there was plenty of space. Parking under cover right next to our unit was perfect.

The heating system seems quite inadequate. The weather during the day was warm, but it was chilly the second morning and the heater didn't do much to warm things up.

Staff weren't very attentive. Complete lack of housekeeping for a 5 night stay

We liked that the beds where comfortable.It had a kitchen.The shower was good.It had double glazing.

It was old & needed a bit more reno in the kitchen cupboards.

Rooms are big and spacious. Private garage. Close to the city.

The location was great as I could walk to my conference each day.

My unit had not been cleaned thoroughly when I arrived, there was rubbish in the bin in the kitchen and clothes belonging to a previous guest in the wardrobe. The heaters did not work well, kept turning off 1 minute after turning them on and I was cold.The unit was not checked daily while I stayed. One clean bath mat and the rubbish was emptied once.
