Merivale Court Motel

the room was not clean, it was disgusting

the amount of dirt that had not been cleaned up, it was disgusting and even the floor had not been vacuumed very well with bits still lying on the carpet. took some photos as evidence it was so bad.

Apartment had cooking facilities, big tv with Netflix, electric blanket was a nice touch and beds were comfortable.

Bottle of water from previous guest under bed

Central to all our activities, comfortable beds and seating

Dirty dishes in the cupboard

Place was comfy, Beds Brilliant, Shower was great. Nice cozy room. Would stay again.

Location was great.

The bed was comfortable. However the bedding was not fresh and I suspect the bed had not been stripped from the previous guest. This was very disappointing. The room I was in was so tiny it would never have been appropriate for 2 people. Also the night light was right outside my room and it never turned off the whole night. There were non-working power points and had to pull the microwave out to get the jug to work. The back of the microwave was dirty and grimy. There is no kitchen sink so you have to use the hand basin for every thing. The toilet cistern did not fill up properly so the water was running in the cistern continuously. Once I settled in I went to the office to report this but it was already closed. I pulled out very early the next morning so had no chance to let manager know

location was handy.

Never saw a staff member. Room was dirty, particularly the toilet/bathroom. Was awake allnight with people walking around above us with the floor creaking.

Was affordable for our family

We stayed for 2 nights and no service was done. We had to ask for more towels. Is that normal? Was the first time I've encountered that on a multi nights stay is all.

Location was excellent for the venue we were attending. Very good and frequent bus service in to town and walking distance to shops and Cafe.

Would have liked some drawer space so we could unpack the suit case and more wardrobe e space.

The motel is conveniently sited and while a bit in need of updating is good value for money. Room 5 is actually not a bad small apartment, with 2 bedrooms.

The receptionist was to the point and the room was basic but comfortable. Good general cleanliness but could do with some deeper cleaning. Good shower and comfortable bed. Great location!

The room had no style or vibe - it was just a room, and could have been a little cleaner around skirting boards, lightswitches and doors.

excellent location for this visit

a little difficult to see the driveway in busy traffic and poor weather

Room served its purpose for the weekend but it could have been cleaner. There were dirty marks on the wall above the bed, a towel on top of the curtain rail.

Location, quiet

Property a bit dated

Location was good.

There was broken glass in one of the car parks which I didn’t notice till I had parked there. Told the owners who did go and sweep it up. Very narrow entrance and not that welcoming. The hot water was scalding hot so quick from cold. It needs turning down. The shower dripped all night until I put a towel on the shower floor, and the outside light shone in the bedroom way too brightly for me. Very run down motel. Also the wifi was very slow. Would not recommend.

Location was great, staff friendly and considerate, room was clean.

Place was clean but dated, admin only avail between 2-5pm. upstairs room, so i struggled to manouver bags up stairway, was not informed room was upstairs and parking was tight.

The bed was comfortable.

This was supposed to be a superior room. it was so small,. The photos are make the room look larger. It says a private bath room, but the vanity was in the main room and we had to leave our clothes in the main room, meant it wasn't that private. The room was so small we had to jam the table into the corner to get our cases open. How they can justify calling it a superior room is beyond me. We only stayed for one night and would like a refund.

Wasn’t very clean , skirting boards were dirty under the bed was dirty could tell the sugar hadn’t been changed for years

Wasn’t very clean

Location was perfect & staff were very nice.Communication was amazing.

The photos on the web page are not what the accommodation loooks like unfortunately, rooms are very dated and lots of broken items.Dirty utensils & glassware was very disappointing.

Central location, cost effective and well equipped

Clean neat and tidy, bed was comfortable and walking g distances to super market and cafes.

That I only stayed two nights.Clean and tidy, quiet and close to amenities.
