Had all the facilities needed when on tour such as washing machine and dryer

A bit far from town good 15 minute walk ok if not cold and raining

Good location, onsite free parking, room was simple but has the necessities + washer/dryer which was a bonus

We had a few issues with our stay that coloured our experience.Firstly the keycard we were given didn't work so had to get it reprogrammed. Not the first time this has happened to us Ina hotel and a simple fix.Secondly, the room had a terrible issue with drafts and Christchurch was very windy when we arrived. This led to a horrible, very loud wailing sound due to the strong draft. This didn't appear to affect other rooms (you could hear it from outside the room). There were no other rooms available to move us to. The suggestions from reception were either to put a towel under the door, or to wait until the evening staff close the windows at 7:30pm and see if it helps - however there would be no one on site after this to help if not, so we would have had to called the after hours manager. Fortunately, the towel worked - not ideal but not a huge deal.Thirdly, when we got back from dinner out, we found that our fridge has decided it was time to defrost itself and had leaked all over the entryway tiles. Fortunately none of our belongings were affected. We had some spare towels in the room we could use to mop it up - there was none on site to complain to that evening so we decided to just deal with it.

I loved that our room had a washer and dryer in the bathroom. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner was also really nice.

Terrible experience, staff unresponsive and room dirty

My stay at Ramada was a complete disappointment. The room cleanliness was shocking – I found underwear from previous guests left in the dryer (one male, one female). This is not only unhygienic but also shows a total lack of attention to basic housekeeping.After checking out, I realized I had left some clothes in the washing machine. I called the hotel multiple times over two days (morning and afternoon each day). Every call involved them asking for my name, check-in/check-out dates, room number, and detailed descriptions of the lost items, including color and distinguishing features. Each time, they assured me they would follow up immediately, either by email or phone. In reality, no one ever responded, and no action was taken.Eventually, I had to send a friend to the hotel in person to inquire, and only then did they casually say the items were not found. The entire process was disorganized, slow, and demonstrated complete negligence and lack of responsibility.For anyone considering staying at Ramada, be aware: their hygiene standards are poor, and their customer service is utterly unprofessional. They make promises they do not keep. I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

Great value, spacious and clean room. Not right in the center of town but walkable to everywhere. No dining or boat on site but very close. Love having washer/dryer in room!

This place was all it needed to be. Very friendly front desk staff and good location... a little bit down from the main part of town, but not a bad walk. Room was clean and comfortable.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was great to have the washing machine and dryer. The couch was comfortable. The black out curtains were great. It was handy to the shopping centre and restaurants.

The phone didn’t work. Internet coverage was shocking. The carpet was worn going in to the Bathroom and Bedroom therefore you trod on sharp nails. We complained about the phone but were told were using it wrong!! There was no parking out the front to load our luggage when we arrived or when leaving.

Super convenient location being within walking distance of good restaurants and the city. Good sized, clean room; terrifically cheerful and friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Great two bedroom apartment. Loved the outdoor conservatory space

Our room wasn’t ready at check-in. We had to wait for a further 30 mins which left us late in getting ready for our event

Nice clean room, booked it mostly for use of washer and dryer in room which was super convenient. Room was also big, bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location I found to be nice as well, short walk from bars restaurants and coffee shops. Bonus was free parking. For all of that, the price was incredible!

No e/blanket - TV small & shaded screen - mattress uneven & uncomfortable (sagging) no fixture or shelving in bathroom to put toilet bags - parking (disabled spot 4 us taken by frustrated other person) no trolley for bags - overall , a frustrating stay / won’t rebook

The room has excellent facilities. Washer dryer in room was great. Walking distance to cbd. Only small note was the couch was not comfortable.

Good Location: The hotel is situated just a short walk from the city center. This made it easy to explore local cafes, bars, and attractions. ​Well-Appointed Rooms: Our apartment was spacious and modern, featuring a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, as well as in-room laundry facilities (washer and dryer). These amenities added a lot of convenience to our stay. ​Comfortable Stay: The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with excellent water pressure in the shower. ​Friendly Staff: The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Limited Ventilation: While the air conditioning worked well, the windows in our room couldn't be opened, which made it difficult to get fresh air. ​Only One Luggage Rack: A classic hotel mystery—why provide just one luggage rack in a room meant for two people? Do they assume couples or friends travel with just one suitcase between them? It’s a small thing, but kind of annoying.Parking Constraints: Although on-site parking is available, spaces are limited and cannot be reserved in advance. We managed to find a spot, but it's something to consider during peak times. ​Housekeeping Services: Daily housekeeping is not provided as a standard, which wasn't a major issue for our short stay, but longer-term guests might prefer more frequent service.

The young lady at the desk was great.

No usb ports. No smart tv. Construction going on across the street kept us up.

Location is great ? will be huge once Stadium opens!
