Location great for my needs. Unit was clean but bathroom needs work. Loved the water presure of shower. Person who showed me to my unit was very cheerful and helpful

Gathering happening in restaurant on 2nd night. Attendees were very noisy when outside smoking some were right outside my room. music very heavy bass and very loud went very late into the evening

The room is too small, no sink to wash the dishes, the photos on the site is far different from the actual rooms,

didn’t really look like what was pictured and bathroom was average but comfy bed and was roomy enough for the two of us.

Friendly check in and prompt responses to questions and issues. Quiet location.

First room didn’t have electricity in one part of the room so was quickly moved to another room. But the second room’s shower head wouldn’t turn off, leaving hot running water going all night. When they looked at the issue they advised they couldn’t get a plumber and all other rooms were full. Had to sleep with the sound of running water! Could also see other issues such as a broken toilet button and general poor maintenance.

It gave me the creeps, the room was dirty, stunk, the staff didn’t speak good English.I didn’t even end up staying. I left and had to pay for other accommodation somewhere else. I just didn’t feel safe in this place at all.

it was a bit stressful when we first arrived as the hotel couldn't find out payment - at first they wanted us to pay but when we kept on insisting that we had already paid, after a while they found the payment.

Rooms were a little tired, especially the bathroom. One of our partysaid her bathroom had quite a bit of mould.One bed was missing a leg!

This hotel is well placed for a visit to the university (About 20-minute flat walk) or easy access to the city (walk or bus).The rooms are clean and have good space and reasonable services for the price.

Maybe an additional blanket / warmer duvet for this time of year (not a fan of the electric blanket options provided - this is a personal preference!)

Location was awesome, close to shops. Place was what it was expected. Highly recommended.

Handy location, comfortable enough.

We have stayed here a couple of times in the past and found the room clean. This time we thought the room was dated, the bed cover had marks and one of the pillow cases was stained that looked as though it handed been cleaned. Cups left wet on the tray.

Location, warm, clean and quiet

There was a tea towel but no dishwashing liquid or dish cloth. Checking person unfriendly.

The hotel location is perfect.. The bed is neat and clean as well as the room. The reception is quite accommodating and kind.

Non existent breakfast. So no worries. Lighting was good. You have an excellent facility there and when you have done it up you will have a very nice place.

We had stayed here a couple of years ago and it was clean so we were surprised to findtThe rooms werent very clean, there were bottle caps, bits of rubbish and lots of dust under the beds. Drain in bathroom floor was dirty, skirting boards dirty. TV remote didnt work.Both beds were made up with a bottom sheet, then dirty uncovered duvets, then a top sheet over the top. When we rang office and asked for an additional sheet as we didnt want to sleep under a dirty duvet the mgr got angry and said "why didnt you call earlier" ??? it was only 9;45pm and we were only just getting ready for bed and hadnt noticed. He was not pleasant and was hostile and said "all beds are like that, I am just the duty manager" then hung up. We then had to remake our beds to we werent sleeping under the dirty duvets. The hotel was empty other than us and one other room on a Saturday night, he indicated on check in that the hotel had been quiet so no excuse for dirty rooms and to be so unaccomodating. In addition we werent told where to find wifi code so we had to ring the front desk. Therefore the 3 calls for the wifi code, the non working remote and the bed situation was the most times I have ever had to call a front desk...EVER!

Location to Riccarton mall and restaurants was great.

Staff were very helpful and flexible as I extended my stay by a couple of nights and was able to stay in the same room. Room was quiet and on the ground floor which was accommodated at short notice. Location was excellent!

Couple of small things like lights and phone not working in my room.
