Tussock Hill Vineyard Retreats

Arrived in the evening and it was an easy self check-in process. The one bedroom lodge was very clean and comfortable. They provided a bottle of wine and had many games we could borrow. The best part was the outside bathtubs with a view.

I enjoyed the location and property. I wish were would have been there longer to enjoy the surroundings.

The room design is really nice and with hot-tub outside the balcony. We really enjoy staying at the hotel, and the restaurant is also providing great dining. Totally the best experience in New Zealand trip =).

No TV ,linked music to the sound system and had a lovely relaxing night chilling in the room, a rare occurrence having time to relax and take in the amazing views.

Nothing it was amazing

The view was so beautiful and was just a peaceful, relaxing stay cation away from home for my partner and I :) and getting the breakfast delivered to the room was just another level of service I’ve never experienced at other places!

Needed more trash bags, extra dishes and supplies or a way to get them and an easier way to throw out the trash. I get the logic behind no tv but it would have been nice to relax at bed time with a show.

Balcony and bathtubs

It is not a hotel It is more like a Air B and B There is not any reception.

Amazing service, personable staff, excellent room, facilities and location

So peaceful, great views of the city and conveniently located at the beginning of the walking track. This place has all of the modern amenities you’re looking for and the soaking tub is as dreamy as it looks.

The bathroom door is one of those barn door sliders so does not offer much privacy in terms of noises.

The privacy, attention to detail, and level of finish. I enjoyed the outdoor baths and the convenience of the recharge points and Bluetooth speakers.

The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal considering the price. Everything was fresh and delicious.

The staff was very nice and helpful even though we checked in late. There’s even a complimentary wine.

Views were stunning, outdoor bath was great and the on site restaurant was fantastic (make sure you book ahead of time)

The outdoor baths were amazing, the rooms were tastefully decorated and the bed was SUPER comfortable!

Breakfast was really disappointing, given the food reviews we were super excited and happy to pay 50 dollars for both of us to have granola and sourdough, however the juice tasted as though it was from a carton and the fruit was flavourless. Some pastries and fresh fruit platter and granola would be much nicer.

Location and the lunch

No TV so after lunch not much to do. Didn't know about urber eats would deliver until after we had lunch.

The location, room and welcome bottle of wine from the vineyard was amazing. The breakfast served in our room was delicious.

Everything was perfect

Exceeded expectations. Lovely setting. Wonderful room, very up to date. Private, quiet. Great staff.

Can not think of one thing we didn’t like.

Peaceful, quiet and beautiful. Beautiful suite high end finishes and comfortable bed. Very clean and well appointed.

Parking

Location and view room was very nice modern.

No trash bin apart for a very tiny one in the bathroom. No microwave available, plenty of plates and cutlery.

Beautiful spot, well spec'd room, comfy bed and pillows, made good use of the baths outside, we really enjoyed our stay here left feeling relaxed and rested
