Beautiful hotel and service, clean and updated.

Great room; enormous living area.Helpful staff who gave good restaurant recommendations.Low level lighting is activated when you go into the bathroom

It’s a fair walk from the centre but there are places to eat nearby

Breakfast was tasty. Great selection. Nice coffee

View from the bedroom on Level 1 not the best, however not a deal breaker

Great hotel. We loved our generously sized rooms. Loved the free hot drinks in the lovely cafe.

Possibly a but soulless?

The room was extremely quiet, with a very comfortable bed and excellent curtains which meant that the room did not get light too early in the morning.

The bar / dining area was a bit on the small side.

Great cafe and doesn’t take long in the lift, as only a few floors. Modern design, very clean and comfortable bed. Great blockout curtains! Also have windows you can open for fresh air!

Aircon is only a split system, but still works pretty well. Our room wasn’t serviced after our first night, but unsure of whether it was supposed to be!?

The furnishings were sturdy and comfortable. Staff welcoming and friendly, providing us with the requested quiet room on a high floor. Location not too far to walk to the busy Cuba Street with lots of lovely eateries.

Very comfortable stay in a very modern and well appointed hotel. Check in was smooth, rooms were exceptionally clean and the beds amazingly comfortable. Great shower room with high quality toileteries. Coffee cafetierre was a nice thought.Very good, but limited evening meals at the restaurant, but the breakfast food was exceptional. No buffet (Hurrah! Hate buffets!) and a great selection of healthy well prepared choices, including some great sourdough or multi seed breads and lovely pastries. Shame no freshly squeezed OJ.Wonderful service with very happy and well trained obliging staff.A wonderful stay!

Location quite a long walk to the city centre, though well placed for Hagley Park. They said 15 minute walk, closer to 22-25 minutes for us.

The staff was very helpful and Kind, especially due to our late arrival. The room was large and welcoming. We also sent some laundry away to be done and the laundry service was fantastic. Absolutely five star.

Poor shower pressure. Couldn’t easily wash thick hair.

Nothing to dislike

This hotel is excellent and has a true luxury touch. The staff is outstanding and genuinely tries to do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. A real highlight is the restaurants on the first floor, with absolutely great food. Breakfast is fantastic, dinner is pleasant, and whatever you choose is consistently very good. The location is very good and surprisingly quiet, making it easy to relax. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Very comfy bed. Easy parking right next to entrance. Friendly staff.We didn’t try the cafe but it looks nice!

Hotel was quite modern and room was a good size and quite comfortable.

Hotel was further out from town than we expected. The hotel had a cafe attached but under separate management.Breakfast was very good but service very slow - 50 minutes from sitting down to drinks being served on first day. Cafe offers very small menu of evening meals but they are of good quality, again service very slow.

Water pressure in the shower pretty low and because of that took a long time to change temperature when the handle was moved..
