Located close to Auckland’s scenic harbor, the Copthorne Hotel is a 4-star property offering spacious guest accommodations and great views over the city and the water. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Queen Street and Auckland CBD (Central Business District). The Copthorne Hotel Auckland City has 110 comfortable guest rooms, all of which feature a balcony offering a variety of views. Some of the rooms overlook Waitemata Harbor, while others overlook the city skyline and surrounding parklands. The hotel has a restaurant and bar which is open daily and serves a good range of international food. Just a short walk away, guests will find many restaurants and shops in the Viaduct Harbor complex. The hotel offers limited car parking to its guests (charges apply) and free WiFi throughout. The Copthorne Hotel Auckland City is very close to the University of Auckland and the Spark Arena. The popular shopping areas of Parnell and Newmarket are both within easy reach too.

- The room was clean, likewise the bathroom. GOod location.
Cons -
- The door to the bathroom did not work. We were assured we had booked a king bed with an additional single bed (for our daughter) but had three singles with terrible old blankets on them. None of our keycards worked.
- Distance from the airport
- The hotel has a tired feeling .Room cramped for three adults - would not consider it a superior room as stated on the website. Parking system appalling, costs $25 each night, they oversubscribe the allocation that can result in no parks available.
