    • This is our second staying. The location is exceptional! Restaurants, shops, metro, shuttle to airport, shuttle to ski park, all are just within walking distance. Staffs are nice and helpful. The 1/F lounge is a good rest place to have free drink, snacks and we can buy takeaway and eat there when restaurants everywhere are busy.

    Cons -

    • We went public washroom first night and we realized that the shower pipe at my room was broken at the last night. The water ran slow. Window was not free to open and no view. But these are not a big deal to our stay.
    • Room a bit too small

Nothing wrong Can be said about karaksa. It was a central located close to all the major attractions. The rooms were pretty well maintained and very, very specious than average.

Very perfect. Nothing wrong for the price we pay.

Onsen was nice layout. Comfortable.Restaurant breakfast had good variety. The welcome drink and scnaks is a nice touch.Room was spacious enough.

Very little parking available and if the hotel parking is full, not much facility with partnership with the hotel.

Located in the heart of Susukino, just a couple minutes away from the station. Free snacks, lounge, and onsens in the 2nd floor, and the staffs speak English, Korean and Chinese.

For a 3 bedroom room, it can be a bit cramped.

The location is great, very close to the airport bus stop (to AP). Right on tanukikoji, few minutes walk to underground shopping street.

Comfortable bed and clean room.location is good with the shopping street nearby.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Karaksa Hotel Sapporo — it was our best stay in Japan! The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the breakfast was delicious every morning. The onsen is relaxing and very clean, and the room was spacious and comfortable for our family. The entire team is amazing — so kind and thoughtful. They remembered every day that our toddler needs a straw and always brought it to us with a smile as soon as they saw us in the dining room. Traveling with a one-year-old can be challenging, but this hotel made everything easy and enjoyable.Highly recommended for families — we can’t wait to come back!

Excellent location - there is a front entrance on a side street but the back entrance is on Tanukikoji street, and actually much easier to get to from the station (since the ground is more even, and if coming from underground, there is an escalator from Pole Town).Room was reasonably sized, but was still a tight squeeze for a room with 3 occupants. The public bath was great, we didn't shower in the room at all due to this.Amenities were great - skincare was provided as well as water daily.

While we didn't use the shower, it was a bit cramped. However if you are comfortable using the public bath it is totally fine.

The room is large, clean and well equipped. Staffs are so nice and helpful. Will stay here when we come back to Sapporo

Great location, super comfortable and clean.

    9AlisaPosted on: 10-17-2025

The location is excellent, as it is situated on a shopping street with easy access to restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of selections. The hotel also provided complimentary soft drinks and snacks every day.

The onsen facility was nice but quite small, and it can get crowded during the evening hours.

    10LuannePosted on: 10-7-2025

I thought the beds were fine but a few of my family members thought it was too hard. I thought the skin care products were very convenient. The location was perfect and the breakfast was amazing!

I can't think of anything negative that I experienced here. The staff was helpful in every way and the place was comfortable and convenient. I especially enjoyed the onsen.

I liked the onsen, welcome treats and breakfast.

This was my favorite hotel in my whole Japan trip. The rooms are small for 3 people and luggage, which I wish was a bit bigger, but I enjoyed the lounge very much. I was there every night. There were seats, vending machines, and free ice candy, water and drinks. They provide pajamas and it was very comfy. Staff were very helpful and friendly until the end. Also, the location was very convenient. Hotel does daily cleaning (changing of sheets every 3 days) and changing of towels everyday.
