The room was non smoking room, but smelled smoke.

Ideal location close to train and subway station

The WC flush is located in a most impractical part!

The room was fairly large by Japan standards, quiet, the king size bed was lovely and firm. There was free coffee in the lobby. The lattes were probably my favorite thing. Once check-in was out of the way, the front desk staff were helpful and kind.

Check-in, without reservations, was complicated. Front desk finally told us to go ahead and book through booking.com directly to get the best rate. Doing so, we were able to get a great rate.

It was really close to Sapporo station. I liked that.

Room was small and lacked space for clothing, etc. The breakfast was not worth the price.

Very disappointed and unfortunate. Money was stolen from my bag which was left in the room. Money was kept inside a wall

Excellent service from staff from the front desk to house keeping. Breakfast - great with changing menu for breakfast. Large variety, local specialties, western and Japanese food.

Great service all the way from before checkin to checkout, with excellent communication throughout. Prepared a Mother’s Day surprise together with my friend, and the reservation & front staffs handled it perfectly, also helped to assign our rooms close to each other ?The staff at the parking area were great as well. I am not very confident in my driving, but they were always patient and helpful, which really helped ease my anxiety.Great room size and location. Would love to come back again!

The front desk personnel were so very helpful, kind and friendly! One young woman went out of her way to help us find directions and printed up a map to show us exactly where to go! And thanks to her help, we had no problem finding the place! We are so thankful for her kindly help and with such a cheerful spirit! We hope to stay at Mitsui Garden again!

There are only two laundry machines in the hotel, one on the 6th floor and another one the 12th. It is nearly impossible to get hold of it when u need it. Also the machines allow users to lock the doors with a passcode. Not good if the users are not considerate enough to clear their clean clothes in time.The lounge was used by many residents/students for studying when we were there. One has to be mindful and not make too much noise.The tiny room (double bed and sofa bed) we had was TOO small for a family of three. The guests don't have any room to stand. The airport limousine bus stopped at the "front of Sapporo station". It was very very difficult to push the luggage on snow/ice and it took 15mins to get to the hotel. There are better alternatives (Sapporo Grand for eg).

really nice and helpful staff, good wifi, great onsen, easy but nice and local breakfast, near main train station, great for foreigners who want to go to fish market with free transport

It was a couple of blocks from Sapporo station so it was convenient but there was so much snow and some icy areas so you need to be careful. It is a great location to the station so it allows you to use the underground passage as well as getting on the train system. The rooms are small so it was a little hard to move around with the luggage. If you have kids, you will need to consider the size of the room.The breakfast is a must. When I looked in the dining room, I was not expecting much but boy did I get a big surprise! They had a variety to choose from and show cased foods in the region. Delicious! Use the milk as cream; so rich!

Our suitcases were not large but it was tough opening them unless they were on the bed. It is tight but this is a minor inconvenience.

Location is great. Room is spacious enough to spread our luggages. Buffet breakfast selection is good too. Great customer service from all the staff we encountered.

Queen Room window cannot be opened and we cannot figure out how to operate the air conditioner.

although the staff are not very proficient in English, they listened and are able to communicate with us.very helpful and accommodating. assigned high floor so I can enjoy seeing the snowing outside the window.

no connection to basement mall, thereby we have to put on bulky jacket and the path could be slippery.
