    Pros +

    • The location was excellent. It was w few minuywalmingvdistance away from Sapporo train station. We loved the ?retro style? but still luxurious decors. The room was also spacious.
    • It was fine, nothing special and certainly not worth what I paid.
    • Spa is very nice

    Cons -

    • We didn?t try their breakfast because it was a little pricey at 4000 yen though it looked nice.
    • It was very expensive for what should be an inexpensive hotel. Onsens are not tattoo friendly. Room was clean and that¿s all that was ok. Also there were some serious Nazi vibes throughout. But then German hotel in Japan with a 30s theme is sketchy as is.
    • I think it is not really the fault of the property but I would like to say the air conditioning is not quite controllable. We tried to make it not so “warm” in the winter but only ended up making it like summer (about 30celcius) and couldn’t cool it down even if we set it it to 19celcius?. The solution was just to turn off the air conditioning then the temp went to a very comfortable status.

Great hotel. Big room, and great breakfast. Parking is directly under the hotel. We spent there during Christmas, and enjoy the cozy vibe there. The windows in the room is huge and we enjoying watching the snow in the morning !

The public onsen was lovely, and having a microwave on the floor was very convenient. The location was great for walking around Sapporo, and the underground parking was a nice bonus.

We stayed in the south tower, and reaching the public onsen was a bit inconvenient as you had to change out of your pyjamas and walk through the main areas. We also found the rubbish policy frustrating, with extra charges if your waste didn’t fit in the provided bin. In winter, the room temperature couldn’t be adjusted, and turning on the fan activated the heating, so the best option was to leave it off.

Towels changed and fresh water delivered daily, delicious all you can eat breakfast and location 10 min walk from major attractions. Also let’s not forget onsen on the premise.

    Onsen

Massage was not the requested massage (requested back massage and masseuse kept doing full body in spite of asking her to stop and just do back massage). Room was loud - noise from neighboring rooms, upstairs and hallway prevented sleeping. Rooms in the old building are not very sound-proof. The newer building was better (during an earlier stay).

    8RyanPosted on: 12-19-2025

The location, view and the room were excellent.

The intense security for getting into the onsen. You had to go through manned check points to get to the onsen.

    Breakfast, staff and onsen

Room AC cool not working during autumn. The room gets really warm.

    Wonderful staff, location and breakfast.

    Public bath is too small.

Hotel Onsen. Breakfast buffet abundant. Staff amazing. It is a 6minute walk to the Sapporo TV Tower. There is SeicoMart Konbini at the corner of the hotel.

I was assigned room south wing. You are not allowed to wear the providee PJs qnd Hotel slippers to go the onsen. And also since it is winter time the room temperature is auto heating only no cold. The room was hot even outside environment twmp was 30Degrees F. I have to ask for an electric fan. Fortunately they have one.

-Location is great to get to anywhere around Sapporo-Room at south wing are very new and comfy!-The public bath with sauna is wonderful!

-The bathroom in the room are just very small.-The public bath close so early-The buffet breakfast was pretty average

    10NicolaPosted on: 10-29-2025

Location, 10 minute walk from Sapporo station, close to the TV tower and the center. You could even walk to the beer museum. I basically walked anywhere from there.Venue was pretty cool and the breakfast was very good

Location was good - lost a bit getting there first time but it was a prime location closer to everything in walking distance. Stores, shops, the famous park, clock tower, Susukino! yet, the hotel was on a quiet corner, or very good building - I didn't hear any noise from outside or inside/other guests. The bathhouse/spa was amazing. I also felt safe since friendly yet professional staff members are always there. You get great services and enjoy spectacular baths! Also, enjoyed the relaxing room with free ice and drinks. We ended up spending more time in this hotel since it was so nice.. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was amazing - everything so delicious! Thank you so much to all the hotel staff who are all so professional and helpful. Love this place!

    Nothing I can think of!

    The location, the cleanness

    The room is very compact

    8JeannettePosted on: 10-12-2025

This appears to be an older property that has been impeccably restored or maintained (or both). Our room (in the south wing) was extraordinarily large and pleasant. The two breakfast rooms (on the 12th and 13th floors) were quite splendid, with an amazing assortment of choices. We found it easy to walk to Odori Park and we also walked to the Sapporo Brewery (not a terribly interesting route but only about 25 minutes away.) The spa facilities also were nice.

If you stay in the south wing, you have to take the elevator down, walk through a long corridor, then take another elevator up to reach the dining rooms and the spa. That's mildly inconvenient. But not really a big deal.

The highlight of this hotel is the baths. Wonderful onsen.

The room itself was mediocre. There were many scuff marks on the walls, and the room felt a bit dated.

    10EsperanzaPosted on: 9-22-2025

    1) Excellent location. Airport Liner bus dropped us off right in front of the hotel. Pick-up stop back to the airport is just at next door hotel. Very convenient. Train and bus stations are just a short walk away. 2) Onsen was free and a relaxing way to start and end each day. 3) Big breakfast buffet offered a lot of Japanese and Western options. Systematic queuing system allowed efficient seating of guests.4) Self-laundry service was available. Since we stayed for 6 days, this was useful.5) Front desk staff gave us excellent restaurant recommendations.

Nothing really but a gym would be nice.

Gorgeous interior and welcoming staff cast in unimposing Western decor. Cost was the best in the city for what you get. Comfortable, clean, spacious enough.

I suppose the bathroom could be considered somewhat small, but spacious enough compared to hotels in most major cities.
