- This place is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever stayed. I found this place completely by chance. Absolutely phenomenal staff, great amenities, amazing rooms, wonderful facilities! I can not say enough amazing things about this place. Even though my Japanese is extremely limited they had staff who could speak English or used a translator to make communicating easy.
- Quiet, clean, exceptional staff. The concierge we had spoke excellent English which made our stay super easy. Other staff used translator apps to tell us important information. We would highly recommend it.

Nothing really
decorations, breakfast, free bar during the night
onsen was very disappointing. dinner should have been better portion
free bar during the night, the bartender was great
doesnt feel as premium and exclusive during the stay, beside the location is far away from attractions
Pro- limited rooms, so don’t usually see too many other customers in the common areas including onsen. Housekeeping attentive and willing to use translation devices to ensure clear communication.
A/C is not too strong, during the daytime in the summer it may be a little warm.
Great location, beautiful onsen, spacious rooms, wonderful service. Had a delicious Kaiseki dinner one night during our stay. Right next to a nice commercial complex with interesting shops and restaurants too. Onsen was relaxing and well-kept. Staff were very thoughtful as well.
The room was huge and looked amazing! The staff were amazing, the private bath was amazing, the sauna was great, free beverages in the room, the lounge area looked cool and free beverages from there was great too!
Very relaxing and great value for money when you consider included food and drinks. Staff were amazing, going above and beyond to communicate through the language barrier, will definitely recommend to friends.
Difficult to get to and the buses and taxies book up fast. Be sure to arrange transport weeks in advance, don’t rely on PT, we rode a full buss out, that turned away dozens of people, next one wasn’t for another hour.
Staff were really nice, especially during meal time. The drinks inclusive was also good.
Have to book shuttle early otherwise make your own way there.
The property was very well maintained with professional staff. Although they don’t speak much English, they still tried their best to communicate. The room was spacious and the facilities were perfect. The lounge was modern and cosy. The free snacks was a bonus too. Japanese style Breakfast was excellent
It can get quite warm in the room as there isn’t air conditioning. A fan is provided but it was still quite warm.
Nice vibes, amazing food, worth the dinner upgrade. I would love to pay just for the dinner.Spacious room and nice amenities, including a bar with free drinks.Your own private onsen is nice, but the water was dirty with sediment visible at the bottom. there is a temperature control in the toilet in one of the shelves
Location was awkward, nearest public bus stop is an annoying walk with suitcasesHad to book shuttle bus to and from Sapporo ourselves 1 month in advance - unbelievable at ¥100,000 a night
The rooms are big and as per the advertised photos. The interiors are also very homey and comfortable. The staff there are very friendly. They also provide Bluetooth speaker in the room. Their private onsen and sauna are also very comfortable and clean. For their dinner, the Hokkaido beef is very very very good and we could also make additional orders for uni, shrimp, snow crab etc.
Not many other facilities available and there is nothing much to do in the town.Personally, I am not a fan of their breakfast and though their Hokkaido beef at kaiseki dinner is a star, their other dishes can be improved…I also wish they could have supper or allow us to have a later time for dinner (got super hungry at night but luckily we bought cup noodles from Lawson). Also, I hope their check in process can be more seamless. We were placed at a different hotel before we were brought to the hotel we booked (coz they are all sister hotels). When I arrived, the receptionist was not very fluent in handling our arrival and he was very very slow (like watching a x 0.025 replay).
Good
The hot spring seems like normal hot water and it's quite disappointing. It could be a wrong choice if you are travelling with your family to this hotel. I think it's more suiting couples to stay in this hotel because they have private pool inside the room.
The staff were all lovely and very accomodating. I loved chatting with Narita at the lounge, which was a nice place to sit and hard to leave. The room was large and comfortable. The kaiseki dinner was delicious and absolutely worth it. Great value if you’re looking for a ryokan and onsen experience close to Sapporo for a short trip
The hotel is very private, highly recommend the 2bedroom suite, very spacious with excellent view, private bath and sauna. Food is good. Service is top notched. English level of the staff is limited but still can communicate if you are patient enough
The facility was generally clean.
Omotenashi おもてなし completely disappeared at this facility. At check-in, they said dinner time was available either too early (5:30pm) or too late (9:00pm) only. They should have asked this when I made reservation in advance. After having early dinner without choice, I went to a lounge at 8:00pm, at opening time, and the aged person in charge harshly demanded I could only use the lounge for one hour flat. Lounge hours as I was informed were from 8:00pm to 11:00pm, and it provided both complementary and paid drinks. I sat at the counter and ordered a paid Japanese cocktail. Although I clearly knew it was a paid drink, the aged person in charge demanded that I should look at the menu list, again and again and again, and his manner and behaviour and words were extremely rude and unkind. I left the lounge immediately only after one paid drink. Next day, the check out experience was again far from the anticipated omotenashi. The expression on the front staff was without smiles, and he exuded his unwelcome feelings toward my stay at this facility. I would never revisit the facility again. (FYI, I am an American who made a visit to the facility for the first time.)
The meals provided were amazing, the baths were extremely high quality, and the staff were exceptionally courteous even with the language barrier.
The in room onsen was really really nice . The lounge bar complimentary was nice too . The dinner was also delicious .
The public onsen a bit small
Everything was perfect, even by Japan standards. Staff was kind and receptive. Both supper and breakfast were the highest quality and presentation, with the staff very helpful and talkative. The grounds and building are beautiful, with the interior itself a standout. I loved the design and ambience, from the baths to the hallways to the reception to the bar to the dining room. This is a standout ryokan, the best of the best. And the best part? Mr. Narita, the bartender! He made our experience so warm, it will always be a cherished memory. Good man!
There was nothing to dislike.
