Hotel Hokke Club Sapporo

Excellent hotel with a bathhouse in the basement for guests. The room was great and the location right next to Sapporo Station was excellent.

The only complaint I have was the lack of an english speaking staff member at check in.

The location is close to the JR Sapporo station and Odori park. There are 2 convenience stores right next to the hotel to buy water and snacks. The hotel staff went out of their way to help us, even tho their english was not so good.

The check out time is 10am, not the usual 11am time.

Great location. Close to subway and bus access. Walkable distance to major sightseeing spots.

The road outside might be a bit noisy whenever there's a snow cleaning process.

The hotel is centrally located, a fairly close walk to both the main train station and Hokkaido University, in one direction, and the popular restaurants in the Susukino neighborhood, in the other direction. I was impressed by their breakfast buffet, which has lots of tasty Japanese food (lots of pickled veggie and seafood sides) as well as desserts (corn pudding and coffee jelly). The public bath in the basement is somewhat small, but a nice perk to have available.

There is only one key provided with each room, even if there are multiple guests. It is a physical key, and the hotel suggests that you leave the key at the front desk while you are out during the day. This was not so bad for me personally, but may inconvenience some guests.

Great location right near the main train station without being right next to it so it was easy to access without feeling too busy. Great stores and restaurants next door and in the immediate area, plus quick and easy access to tourist sites. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Great breakfast, good size room and closet shopping, bus and train.

Great breakfast buffet, with some change-ups over multi-night stays: stew vs curry, German potato vs tuna croquettes, coffee jelly vs apple jelly. The cheesecake and cream puffs were also very good.As for the room, the mattress and pillows were the most comfortable we’ve experienced so far in a hotel.

It was very well located, with great restaurants around and easily access to train and metro.The hotel shows its years but it's still very comfortable, clean and with everything one might need.Staff is very kind and welcoming.

Staff were efficient and polite. Place was spotless and in a great location in walking distance of the JR station and Otori station. Lots of excellent food options close by.

Public baths on site is a great way to end ant long tiring day.Rooms and bed were larger than average for anything I've stayed at previously.Generously provided with a lot of daily amenities, with vending machines on each floor for more drinks. Conveniently located between three different conbinis. Short walk to Odori park, Sapporo station and the Chip Bus Terminal.All the staff were helpful, polite and cheerful. Breakfast buffet was good value, tasty and nutritious. Had wonderful sleep. Hardly any noise from the street despite being next to a bus stop.Will definitely be back again!

Not able to keep some power outlets on while you are away from room means can't really charge things when away. Not a major deal but something to consider.

the receptionists are all very friendly and helpful and very professional! The rooms are spacious but the bathroom is expectedly small.

the onsen is quite small.

Great location in close proximity to Sapporo station. The rooms were surprisingly large for Japan. On-site onsen and breakfast are available.

No cold water dispenser though not sure if I missed it.The check out time at 10 am is a bit early. 11 would be better. Would be good if breakfast can be extended for another hour. This will be helpful for late risers.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, being close to the Sapporo train station and the odori park. There are great local restaurants nearby. Although the room is small, which is expected, it is very clean and it has everything we need. We would come back here again!

Hokke Club exceeded our expectations for our trip! It was less than a 10 minute walk from the main JR Sapporo station and many of the famous tourist attractions which made it easy to navigate the city during our stay. We arrived a little earlier than our check in but the staff was friendly and helped us get pre-checked in and allowed us to store our luggage. The room itself was a bit small with our luggage but very clean and comfortable. The room was very quiet, too.
