    • Great value!!! Very clean!! Great location
    • It was so nice. I was the only American there (black mixed guy with braids) but i felt completely normal. The cute girl at the front desk helped me get a discount because i needed to extend my stay. And the other staff were so nice! Much better than other hotels ive stayed it. And the onsen was perfect!!!! Its worth it. Oh and i saw a fox down 2 blocks away lol . It was my first time seeing a fox ever

    Cons -

    • Shower too small but they have bath house in basement.
    • The lights in my room were too dim i couldnt see myself in the mirror that well but it all still worked out. Not a major issue.
    • The only (super minor) thing is that I found it a bit inconvenient that in their facility hot bath area, they do not provide towels or face wash. So you would have to bring your own towel and do most of your body lotion/facewash stuff in your room instead. The space is also much smaller as well. But again, this is all minor stuff. Overall I am still pleased with my experience here.

I loved how modern and clean the space was. The outdoor hot bath experience was also a great addition to the amenities. I was especially pleased with how clean the hotel room was! I have to give extra points to the hotel receptionists because they helped me book a few reservations (due to my lack of ability to speak japanese) and I had a complicated reservation and they had so much patience. They took so much time to help me book the reservation and I really appreciated it! Location was very convenient ! Its nearby relevant bus stops and train stations as well as a shopping area.

Clean, great location, good breakfast buffet.

If the room was a bit bigger, would have been great.

    10Kaoru K.Posted on: 12-27-2025

Location is very good. Close from Tanuki Koji district. A lot of restaurants and convenience store near by. Very good Breakfast buffet!

A little bit far from Public transportation. 15-20 minutes to subway or train station.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was good!We enjoyed the onsen.

Room was small for the price.

Friendly staff, very comfortable room. Quite well located in Susukino with easy access to the tramline and mall areas.

When I went, there were a considerable number of people ignoring the rules of the bathing area.

Great location. Many restaurants, shopping and night life around.

Small room (to he expected, but value is not great).

Amazing! Staff very kind and helpful. Spa area well maintained and very relaxing. Comfortable beds with plenty of charging ports. Great amenities. Great views. Would highly highly highly recommend.

+ This is our second time staying with Granbell+ Modern renovation and perfect location

    10MarcusPosted on: 3-26-2025

The room was modern, spacious and well equipped. Though it appeared to be further away from transport compared to other hotels I considered, this was not an issue in the end. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as the all important convenience store just next door (a very well stocked 7-11). I recommend the small ramen place on the corner, and the seafood restaurant across the road.

    9ChristinaPosted on: 3-16-2025

Loved the outdoor onsen, warm and welcoming lobby and staff, and quiet room! The location was convenient and I was able to book a cab with the staff to the airport with ease! Would love to stay with you next time!

The breakfast environment was lovely. For next time, fewer fried options would be better. Nice coffee!

    10AnnPosted on: 3-11-2025

The full-size bed was comfortable after a long delay at the airport. Lots of outlets. The shower room was modern and was wonderful with great water pressure if that's important to you:) Unlike other mid city hotels, we had room to open our suitcases and had a decent seating area. There were 3 washer/dryer combo. Remember, it's steam dryer, so clothes are still a little damp after one plus an extra cycle. The location is on the end of Tanuki shopping covered street mall. The 7-11 is right next door. A few shops into tge mall, theyvsell 200 yen warm sake. We will be back!

Price:) was higher during the snow festival, but all accommodations are higher priced.

    10StaciPosted on: 3-11-2025

We stayed in several hotels during our trip and this was my favorite of them all. The rooftop spa was magical, with snow coming down while soaking in the hot spring. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of variety. The lobby and the staff were both very welcoming and classy.

    8MeridenPosted on: 3-11-2025

Great place to stay, easy access to the shops and restaurants. Enjoyed the outdoor Onsen.

    The breakfast could do better.

    9AniquePosted on: 2-25-2025

Room was nice. Public bath was beautiful. Location was great. Overall a lovely experience and we would stay again.

No early checkin available (not even 10 minutes early), because of this the line at checkin time was very large.

    10JoannaPosted on: 2-24-2025

SPA, Room and Breakfast Close to shopping area, restaurants and airport bus, in a super convenient location which is a perfect place to stay especially for sole traveller.

    10RonanPosted on: 2-19-2025

Awesome location 50ft from Tanuki Koji. They allow you to use the AC in winter (HUGE.) Rooms are clean and modern, with decent space.

A lot of the automated systems they have to cut down on staff were often not working. Both checkout machines were down, and the automated currency changer was down for most of my stay. These modern things are great, but they need to WORK.

    7CassiePosted on: 2-19-2025

great location, nice restaurant, good layout, decent bathrooms

dusty hotel rooms, found hair in my bed, they wouldn’t clean our sheets because we left a plushie and our pyjamas on our pillows, didn’t replace towels, rooms were tiny tiny, bathroom smelt like egg and had very little storage space and bad ventilation
