    Pros +

    • Brand new property, clean and well maintained. Nice cafe for a warm break.
    • Good location and environment
    • convenient location, friendly staff.

    Cons -

    • A bit too stuffy and small .., the heater either was too hot or too cold and windy … the staff wasn’t all that friendly.. they were okay, no major complaints but quite unlike all the hosts I’ve had in Japan .. there just seemed a non personal, almost routine like vibe.. probably best suited for business travelers?
    • The room size is abit small but you expected room like this from every medium fair hotel in Japan
    • Rooms a bit small, no where to put suitcase.

    Location

The room is too small for family and there cafe is always full of people so not welcoming to hotel guests.

I like the location of the hotel, which in along a covered shopping promenade. It is also located near a good number of shops and restaurants.

There was no place to sit in the lobby or ground floor of the hotel unless you order from their cafe. Also, the rooms are small, something I knew to expect in Japan but I got a room meant for 2 people even if I was traveling solo and it still felt cramped to me, especially with an open suitcase.

It was okay, the room is very small

The laundry machine is not working properly, the dryer is not woking at all in results the clothes still wet even after 4 hours of laundry

    Location is good

The bed is quite small, and the pillows were too hard.

    Location & coffee shop downstairs.

    Small room but expected.

    9CaitlinPosted on: 1-1-2026

Spacious for a hotel room. Great for walking to food and drinks.

No area in lobby for waiting.

    Bad idea for hospitality business

The management has a strange policy. Their lobby turn to coffee shop. Everytime you sit around there. You must buy a drink. Everytime

Great location with heaps of cute bars and eats nearby, hotel itself is very charming as a late night bookshop cafe, rooms very spacious for Japan standards including a nice big shower!

It’s in a great location. Close to the subway and only one stop from the train station.

Rooms are exceptionally small but very clean.

Great value! Clean, comfortable, good location. Efficient check in and check out process. Cafe on the main floor is excellent. Would definitely return.

    10HsiangPosted on: 11-21-2025

Very clean, nice, and quiet. I like the location, there is a lot of food nearby, and not a bad walk to the train and bus station.

the location is good for dining, just need 15 mins to walk to nearest subway station

The hotel dont have lobby, guests are unable to sit and relax unless you purchase a drink. The room no mineral water provided, the bathroom no hanger for clothes but only towel

Nice room at a central location in Sapporo. Room is on the smaller side like most hotel rooms in Japan, so it was a little hard to open both suitcases in the room at the same time - one at a time is doable. While this room can have 2 people, it's better suited for solo travellers if you prefer more space. Breakfast was included with our stay and we enjoyed the hearty breakfast.

Good location, nice staff, good amenities.

The duvet over one fat comforter seems to be the norm and unless you open the window and turn off the heat it’s hard to get cool enough to sleep.

    9GwynPosted on: 10-28-2025

Convenient location to restaurants, a 10- minute walk to a train station and shops nearby.

Dryers took a long time to dry clothes but other than that, everything was great.

    9PetrosPosted on: 10-27-2025

The vibe was very comfortable. The lobby was more of a cafe than reception area. I like that the location was not too far from any station (less than 10 minutes walk), in the quiet end of the shopping street. I love the smell of coffee every time I walk in the lobby. The reservable breakfast sets were a good value and tasty (at least by overpriced American food standards). The bathroom was spacious by Japanese hotel standards. We also like all the light controls and the ambient light dial.

I understand the business model of only people who purchase an item can sit in the lobby, but that also means I didn't feel welcome in my own hotel lobby without spending more money. And because the lobby was a cafe, there was no complimentary coffee/tea in the room itself.

This was such a lovely and comfortable space. I would be up super early from jet lag, and I could easily come down and read quietly in the bookstore until I was ready to start my day. The book selection was interesting, and the staff were so kind and patient. The room was warm and clean, and the shower had excellent pressure. The location was also at the quieter end of an vibrant shopping area, and it was easy to get everywhere. A wonderful lodging that I highly recommend!

    Can't think of anything!
