    Pros +

    • The hotel is beautifully located by the Toyohira River, and the snowy views were stunning, making the winter walk to Susukino Station much more enjoyable. We really appreciated the direct airport shuttle, which meant we didn’t have to drag our suitcases to the nearby train station. The staff were all wonderful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the spacious room and the lovely view from our window.
    • Breakfast buffet had many options and was well rounded although it was limited as far as western vegetarian options. Staff was very helpful and called us taxis several times. Room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the city. Comfortable bed.
    • I like location. Staff can speak English well and very helpful. Arr Family asked them to reserve the restaurant almost every day.

    Cons -

    • It would be great to have self-service laundry on site. The hotel does offer laundry service via room service, but it is on the pricier side. We did, however, find a laundromat within walking distance.
    • Room was dated and could definitely use some new furniture. Bathroom was clean although mold around the vents and some in the shower corners. Restaurants closed early and all we could get at the bar was snacks at 8:30pm. Walking into this grand hotel the first thing I noticed walking to reception was holes in the carpet and how worn it is. Not a great first impression.
    • Airconditioning. Room was pretty hot. I slept with airconditioner off.

Perfect hotel and location with a great breakfast

If you park, tell the hotel first otherwise the cost will be very high

Walking distance to the most crowded shopping area in Sapporo city, very near by department stores, airport bus exactly in front of the Hotel

TV channels very limited and only local channels, also will be helpful for tourists if they have their own Tour desk

    8ThomasPosted on: 8-29-2025

Very spacious room (compared to the many other 10-12 sqm rooms I stayed in Japanese hotels) with all facilities.

The hotel is about 1.5 km away from the city center (train stations) and walking to the nearest metro station is a 15-20 min walk.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was good and tasted. Service was good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Great hotel! Lives up to its excellent rating. We liked it very much that we ended up cancelling our booking in another hotel and instead extended our stay here for the duration of our travel in Sapporo.Customer service is topnotch. Everyone goes out of their way to provide utmost comfort to guests. Special thanks to Yuhei for providing detailed information and immediate response on our queries even before of our actual travel as well as making an extra effort to arrange our special request. Likewise to Ms Miyuki, Ms Noishi, Ms Taba & Mr Nakamura for all the assistance. All other Staff who we failed to get the names were also very accommodating, friendly, welcoming & courteous.Room is clean and spacious, beds are super comfortable, water pressure is strong and shower is so relaxing. Buffet breakfast has wide selection and delicious.Very convenient to and from the New Chitose Airport. Airport bus stops infront of the hotel. There is a free hourly hotel shuttle service going to and returning from Sapporo Station (and always on time). Lawson convinience store is just across the hotel. Hotel rates are reasonable.Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again in our future travel to Sapporo.

Bigger dispensers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner maybe better than the small one-time use bottles.

rooms are bigger than other hotels. All restaurants in the hotel are very good. The Inside of the building is very classy.Staffs are very helpful.

    Carpets are getting old.

    8MatteoPosted on: 5-29-2025

The hotel is old, I'd say classic. Well mantain. Room sizes are bigger than most of other hotels in sapporo. The hotel isn't in the city center itself, however you can reach susukino in 20min walking or 5min by car. There's a nice gym.

The onsen isn't great unfortunately, but we didn't choose this hotel to enjoy the spa.

    4CHANAPosted on: 5-29-2025

Staff were attentive and friendly, answering questions helpfully. There is a bus from the airport that stops right across the street.

The public bath and sauna felt very dirty, and the hours are inconvenient as they close for cleaning at 10 PM. I felt rushed out by the cleaning staff. The rooms were also dirty, with water stains all over and some trash left over. The in-room standup shower has a head that is way too high to be fully functional and also leaks water underneath the door and all over the bathroom floor. We had to use towels to sop it all up. The temperature cannot be controlled and it was so hot within the hotel that I became nauseated from overheating both nights during our stay, even with the window cracked open all night to let cool air in. This hotel seemed luxurious when we booked but was very disappointing. There is not even coin-op laundry, you have to go to a laundromat and carry back wet clothes if you need to hang dry. You also pay an unreasonable rate for parking, or if travelling by transit the free shuttle leaves late in the morning so you need to walk a long distance to get to a station to catch an early train. This left us no time to have the included breakfast we already paid for as it would be too late for us to catch our train schedule.

    10Jehan'AdPosted on: 5-19-2025

Everything about this property was excellent. The staff was helpful and the facility was clean and well equipped. We were also pleased that the airport shuttle picked up across the street so were able to avoid the added expense of a one hour taxi ride.
