KOKO HOTEL Sapporo Ekimae

Location was good.

My room was extremely small. The window was facing the building about 3 feet in front. But the wifi was extremely slow and I was barely able to do work there. Also, I must have booked at an extremely bad time as the cost was over $-- per night.

Hallways, doors, carpets need renovations. Very old.

Tidy, simple but exactly what we needed. A good night's rest on our way to road trip around Daisetsuzan.

Cigarette smoke smell, but it was worse in the hallway than the room.

location is nice. 10min walk to the Sapporo Station. 15min walk to Sapporo night center.room was clean and staff were nice.

The price seemed excessive post Covid? Although the receptionist was kind enough to offer me a larger room which made me happy

The Nest Hotel is located in a great area of Sapporo making it possible to see a lot of the famous sites on foot including things like the clock tower and the TV tower, which are both close by. It is not far from the station and is an easy enough walk even with luggage which we appreciated. Our room was on the smaller side with the bed and the desk being relatively close to one another but was comfortable nonetheless, even with two people sharing the space. There is a laundry room available in the hotel however it tends to be busy and the dryers take a couple of times running to truly dry clothes. The thing that we really came to love during our stay was the breakfast buffet which was included in the price. There were so many dishes to choose from! As long as you like Japanese food it is incredible, though eggs and sausages are available as well for those who do not. It felt like a great deal compared to trying to buy breakfast out in the city.

The only slight downside for this hotel is the fact that you are asked to turn your hotel key to the front desk each time that you go our and collect it upon your return. However, it is not too big of an inconvenience and the staff are quick to return your key to you. Also, it seems that you have to collect your breakfast ticket for the next day from the front desk each day and are not able to collect them all at once for the duration of your stay.

Location, very convenient to downtown of Sapporo.

There was an odor of old smoke as you enter the hotel, all the way to the hallways and the room. I asked to be changed to a nonsmoking room because that is what I requested and was told that the hotel was full.

The staff for the reception and in breakfast area was excellent. They are very polite and professional. The breakfast was also very good with many typical Japanese dishes and deserts.

The location was great, the price was very reasonable and the staff were lovely.

Strong cigarette miasma, which wasnt terrible but was surprising.

Specification of two different Nest hotels in Sapporo was not obvious and made it confusing and took a long time. I have been to other smoking hotels before even though i dont smoke and this one has definitely been the worst in terms of how it affected my stay.

Very good location to Sapporo station! The staff was nice as well.

The rooms could've been a bit cleaner. The fridge is very strong and froze our food.

There is no space for dining, even there are tables at the hotel lobby, youre not allowed to dine in there.

The room layout was great, it had a comfortable bed and the bathroom was simple and great. The staff cleaned very well, they were nice and patient.

If its possible to add more lighting options like have more than one adjustable light. Other than that, I was very well satisfied. Possibly mount the tv to the wall. That can be an idea.

Hotel was value for money. Location was fantastic!

Room smelt like cigarettes when we first got the key, we let the aircon run for awhile and the cigarette smell went away.

I reserved on May 12, 2023, The Hollywood room for 3 people, Non-smoking, but Not have daily cleaning total 3 night June 17 - 20, 2023. I must pay 48680 yen.I changed some option on May 14, 2023, for daily cleaning the room the price add to 57000 yen. Booking.com charged to my VISA card on June 8, 2023.When I go to Nest Hotel Sapporo at June 18, 2023 because I missed the last rapid train from Hakodate, That is my fault. I checked in and rest on the Hotel two night. Not have a Daily cleaning from maid Why?I add to upgrade for daily cleaning and pay more 7000 yen. Why not have daily cleaning, please tell me.

They got triple room! The location was convenient. Walking distance from JR Station, close to 3 convenient stores.

3 good size bed for the family but room is too small to adequately fit them.

Room too small, a bit worn down. The property was not easy to find. This is not a smoke free hotel, and strong tobacco odour in elevator and lobby.

Close to JR station, around 5 min walk.Clean. There is coin laundry washer & dryer.

We booked a room for 3, beds are side by side, no space to walk in between

The hotel is well - located and close to the JR station and Sapporo metro station. The room was small but generally comfortable with a small fridge and desk area.

The bathroom had an unacceptable level of mould on surfaces including on the door where towels needed to hang, although the rest of the room was clean.
