    Cons -

    • If you’re going to book this hotel I highly recommend you think twice. The hotel charged an extra $350 Canadian/¥3500 per room for my stay because I had originally booked as a couple per room, they said that their booking showed only 1 guest per room and charged the additional guest fee. I did not have the same issue last year when booking so please beware
    • Narrow room , no clean up service till check out ,
    • There are several things we DID NOT like on this hotel:1) Breakfast area - given that the hotel has so many rooms there should be ample space for the breakfast area. Everyday we are rushed to finish our breakfast since there are people lining outside the pantry. There were only 9 tables multiply by 4 seats each to accommodate the rest of the hotel.2) Rooms - there was no indication that rooms are not cleaned everyday only change of towels, unlike in other hotels (even in Tokyo). I was surprised when the receptionist told me that rooms are normally clean after 2 nights. There are hotels when you book it would say ECO Standard room which means that no cleaning but change of towels only. Moreover, the rooms and toilets have some foul smell when we entered.3) Beddings - we booked 2 Japanese tatami rooms. Unfortunately, the duvet filling is very yellow and smelled so bad.

The beds were comfortable and the location was very good.

The windows were indeed not very soundproof. I heard commotion of the streets even on the 8th floor.Unfortunately the breakfast selection was quite limited and there were more softdrinks than juices. The breakfast room looked sparse and more like an afterthought.

No cleaning service , we stay in hotel likeHome stay , have to throw our own rubbish. Check out time10.00 am . When we check out , no one at the counter

No cleaning service in hotel , we stay 4 night , bed sheet never changed ! Room never clean , have to throw own rubbish ! NoDoor bell , we have to knock door literallly with hand ! You can't see anyone in teh hotel at night , even at night , no one at the counter , security compromised

The location is superb, and the room is spacious.

Lighting too weak for me to do my makeup. The air-conditioning is confusing as I am not able to get the hot air. I have to bear with the cold whole night.

Very close to shops, restaurants, and the stations.

No room cleaning everyday. Though we were thankful that we had free 2 days room cleaning service during our 17-day stay

    Location

Everything was bad . You basically got an empty room with flat rags that they passed for Japanese beds??? What a joke.

Very convenient to go everywhere. Kuromon market is just within 5 minutes walking distance. Can even walk to Dotonburi in within 15minutes. The hotel is surrounded by many good foods and restaurants. Lawson is just next to the hotel.

    9ShiPosted on: 12-5-2024

The room is clean, quiet with good sound insulation, and comfortable. The lobby is well maintained and designed, and the staff are friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near dotonburi and kuromon market. There’s a Lawson located right next to it as well:

The only thing I liked about this property was its close proximity to everything.

    1. Checkin staff were not welcoming2. Wait for the elevator was too long as the housekeeping were using it to transport trash and linens, during the peak times.3. Linens on my bed were stained 4. Breakfast was gross. I asked if they could perhaps salvage my breakfast experience by cooking their “runny” eggs and was simply told No.5. Check out time is way too earlyI highly recommend the property management take more concern in attracting people to their property for a great experience and not to just collect their payment.

Location was alright, close to the station, you have to walk a bit further for the lift in Namba station, I couldn't recall the exit number but the escalator and lift helps a lot.

The location was convenient for us. Very close to the Dotonbori, Namba Park, and train station so it was easy for us to get around. The staff was helpful too as we arrived too early, we were able to leave our luggages until the check in time.

    Room was a bit small

My family picked this place because it is located conveniently next to the Nankai Namba station where trains to Kansai airport are operated. A variety of restaurants, shopping centers, and arcades are within walking distance to the hotel.

I would not recommend this place to light sleepers as you can clearly hear people talking in the hallway or in their own rooms. The windows were not sound insulated because I could hear garbage truck taking out trash on the streets at midnight. No room cleaning service so not recommend to those who like their bed newly made every day. Used towels and trash bin had to be taken out to the hallway by yourself, leaving a messy impression to customers, especially some towels were not collected for a whole day because time to leave used items out were not specified at check in. Not enough lighting by bedside for reading or walking to bathroom in the middle of the night. Staff who checked us in spook good English. However, the front desk staff working on 8/13 night was not able to understand our questions in English inquiring about early check out on the next day and proceeded to reply with “I don’t speak English” which I thought was a minimum requirement for staff at a hotel located close to popular tourist attractions. I never overcome this situation as an experienced traveler who has been to Japan cities and suburbs for 10 times, I can assure you!

The location is convinient and there is a store right outside the entrance where you can buy water, snacks, etc. There are good restaurants nearby as well. The hotel is very well maintained. Staff is very friendly. Check in and check out is easy.

There is some dust and hair clustered on the edge of the room. We had a tatami room so seeing those things right next to the pillow and bed is quite unpleasant.

    Great location. Nice staff.

    Small room. (But it's normal)
