The Lively Osaka Honmachi

Modern, clean + spacious rooms

The phone to utilise facilities like room service. Also wasn’t happy that the laundry room was being renovated.

This is the 2nd time I stayed here mainly because it?s close to the trains, near convenience stores, and the rooms are larger than most in Osaka.

The amenities bar on the second floor, the shower closet is spacious, the cleanliness, the pajamas are nice. Had a really nice cocktail at the bar.

I wish there was a laundry machine in the hotel

Hotel was clean and looked like a vibe. Close to 7-Eleven.

I could hear the people above me.

The decor and friendly staff. The check in was the best in Japan.

Good vibe

The location itself is slightly hidden but is a full gem. The staff is great and the ambiance was amazing through and through. It was very modern.

Hotel worked well for us. Not really near much was the only downside but a 10-20 minute walk got us to where we wanted to go. Room was perfectly adequate in size and quiet. Staff was helpful though we had limited interaction. But very nice overall.

It was clean and upscale. Had all necessary things in the facility. It also provided rental massage machines that was really helpful. The hotel also direct transfer of our bags to next hotel for a charge.

The water stink on the restroom. The hotel did not serve any chicken or vegetarian options.

i love how cozy the hotel was & surprisingly spacious!! it is close to a metro line, very convenient!! it is closed to family mart, 7e & lawson to grab foods if we are hungry in the midnight.

Loved the rooms and location.Enjoyed the one hour free beer in the afternoon and we paid for breakfast, that was very good.

We extended our stay from one night to two, but we couldn't just stay in our rooms, we had to check out to check in again, in my case had to change the room. It was easier just to extend the stay and don't check out.

I really recomend thier burgers - the highest quality and taste.

The breakfast - this is what we really did not like there. They have no healthy food options, just sandwiches, salad and granola. However, sandwiches look good and quite unusual.

Very nice hotel and great value for money. Loved Osaka. Great location to get to everything with ease. The hotel is kept in a very high standard and the room was very aesthetically pleasing. Great water pressure in the shower.

For my 6ft3 partner the bed was far too small and quite uncomfortable. It was frustrating the lack of plugs and access to them.

Our stay here was amazing. We were having a rough first night due to flight delays and cancellation, but The Lively went above and beyond to accommodate our much needed adjustments. The staff is extremely helpful and the breakfast here was a great way to start our early mornings each day. I would definitely come back here next year.

I enjoyed staying at the lively. The decor was fun. I liked the rooftop area and view. The being view from the bar was amazing and I was happy to use my spending voucher there.

The only thing I would change would be the breakfast. I enjoyed the sandwiches, but they were not a good fit for my sons (15 and 18). Maybe a more neutral palate would be better to accommodate a greater audience.

Location is good. Convenience stores and subway is close. Hotel is clean in general.

The twin theater room wasn't good as expected. 1- Beds weren't comfortable for sleep. One of them was nearly broken and both of them keep sliding from the base making them unstable. 2- The projector wasn't a good quality one, the sound coming from it was cracking.

Location

Facilities - which are very basic. The photos of the room looked brighter and bigger than the actual room. The hallway was dark. Upon check-in, the reception asked us to watch a video of the hotel rules. They couldn't bother to talk as other normal Japanese hotel. This hotel is trying to be hip, but it just turned out to be like a hostel.

Very comfortable and clean room, great location and a metro stop around the corner.

Amazing service for birthday surprise, nice large room.

very clean, great amenities, awesome location
