Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi

Well, it had a nice bath

I should have done more research, it was not the best location

Great location with friendly staff and clean

Spacious for a capsule-like hotel where there was space to store all my belongings within the capsule space. Small but clean mens public style bath with even an outdoor tub (behind tainted windows without any outside view). Additional blankets and pillows were available free for use on my floor as well.

The location is really good , the staff is nice and polite, the room was really clean and spacious and the best for me was how close the shower is from the room

Nothing at all , only compliments to the hotel no dislikes

The hot huge tub and the location, also spacious capsules

The new policy of cleaning after 3 days

Very clean, good staff, great location

Zero comfort from the beds and absolutely no soundproofing. People were coming in and out every hour, making it impossible to sleep. At times, you could even hear people from the floors above and below you.

Very clean, friendly staff, modern indoor facilities

Just the guest making sounds late night (2am)

staff were friendly, amenities were great and the capsule was spacious compared to other capsule hotels. A longer walk from the closest train station but nice food options nearby. Most amenities are new

Beds are quite hard, needed an extra pillow which the hotel can provide.

This was perfect for just a place to sleep one night in Osaka on our way to Koyasan from Tokyo. We arrived late but I wish we had more time to spend in the common areas - they were so cute and the staff was so kind! The hostel is very clean and thoughtfully set up - they also offer PJ’s and toiletries for all guests!

The bed is a pretty thin futon, as others mentioned. Also, the capsule is separated from the common area with a curtain rather than a door, so we needed to use earplugs to block noise.

Loved this place even though I only stayed for 1 night. I stayed at female-only dorm and bed was comfortable and clean. Showers were located inside of dorm but very clean as well. The location was superb, I was able to walk everywhere and take public transportation too. I would stay here again.

The only con I can find is that it was a bit hot inside the dorm and the locker was a very small one so I could only put my laptop in there. But not big issues for me.

Great location, quiet, good bathroom and onsen. Free tea and coffee.

Spacious, clean, close and convenient shower area to room with no need to change floors. Able to send/check in luggage as needed.

Easy walking distance to Dotombori and Osaka Castle, also to several subway stops.

Very friendly staff they are very knowledgeable of the location and helpful

Everything was great. The bed was comfortable, the location was close to Dotonbori, and the space was very clean. The onsen was also nice and well-maintained.

First time in a capsule room, my experience was very good, I didn’t expect I will be feeling very comfortable. Is a very nice accommodation, super clean, there is someone constantly cleaning the showers and bathrooms, you don’t even notice the people around, is like you have the place for yourself. The staff was very friendly

First night I felt the bed a little hard but later I sleep like a baby

I like how spacious each capsule was. We had a mini closet for our clothes.

It does not have a locker room where you can lock you luggage and suitcases

Incredible facilities and amenities. Room and shower was great, staff was kind, value was incredible. I recommend checking out NOTEQUAL coffee, about a 5 minute walk north.

The only minus of capsule hotel is that they are not quiet - if there is only one guest who is noisy, then you'll here it for sure. So in the night it is the problem.

The location was convenient, and the rooms were larger than expected. The lounge area is open 24/7 which was convenient and there are lots of amenities.

No problems with the hotel itself! Note: There is no laundry, so the hotel recommended Pegasus Laundry nearby. If you go there to do laundry, make sure you have enough in 100 yen coins because their machines have problems processing some cards and wrinkled cash, and they do not return coins if you put in an insufficient amount.
